Tiana's POV

***TWO HOURS LATER***

It was 9:00 on a Tuesday. Aiden was on in bed while me and Jay were snuggling on the couch and watching TV. That's when we heard the elevator ding followed by the clicking of heels on the tile floor. We both looked over the couch and saw a tall beautiful women with expensive looking clothes and elegant features with chestnut brown hair. She had Jay's black eyes. 'Is that his..'

"Ma.. What are you doing here?" Jay asked, clearly irritated, jumping up from the couch and waking to stand in front of his mother.

"I came to meet this girl" She said hotly.

"Ma I don't need you here causing problems." He said trying to be respectful of his mother.

"Is that her?" She asked looking over at me. I didn't say anything to her and neither did Jason and I guess that was all the confirmation that she needed.
"What is that you want from my son?"

"Excuse me?" I asked offended and got up from the couch.

"Why are you trying to pin a baby on my son?!?" she accused.

"I'm not trying to pin anything on your son and I would appreciate if you kept your voice down because OUR son is sleeping." I said calmly.

"Who's to say that it's his son."

"Ma!" Jason yelled "I'm a grown man and I can handle myself I do not need you down here sticking your nose into my business and you need to keep your voice down before you wake up Aiden."

"I'm just trying to protect you. I don't even know this girl. You only ever said that you were dating someone. You never said anything about love or anything being that serious." She argued

I was kinda hurt until Jay spoke up. "I didn't want tell anyone because I didn't want a fucking target on her back. I was in training and vulnerable. I'm the heir to the biggest mafia empire in the world. People would go after her to get to me." He yelled becoming more and more frustrated. "But I can protect her now. Her and Aiden mean everything to me."

His mother seemed to be taking in what he said, narrowing her eyes at me. "I want to seem him." She didn't ask, she demanded.

"I don't feel comfortable with that." I spoke firmly.

"Well if he is my grandson, then I should be able to see him... Shouldn't I" she smirked at me, as if she had won.

My anger was about to boil over. "I don't trust you." I said trying to be respectful of Jay's mother. "You bust in here demanding DNA tests, disrespecting me and you think I'm going to let you around my son." She looked like she had more to say, but Jay spoke up first.

"Ma" he started "I love you, but I can't let you talk to Tia that way. She's going to be wife and she's the mother of my child. I will always protect them. Even if it's from you."

I didn't even know what to say. I don't want Jay to have to choose between me and his mother. He should be able to have both of us on his life no problem. "Well I can see that you feel strongly about her" his mother said hotly with her nose in the air. 'Bougie heifer' I thought to myself, mainly because I didn't want to cause any more tension and also because I didn't want a spanking.

"I do Ma." Jay's voice brought me out of my tangent thoughts. I felt myself blush at my thoughts.

"Well good night then." She said in a bored tone. "Your father will be here tomorrow." She glared at me one last time and walked back onto the elevator.
