Jason's POV
I drove back to Tia's apartment and grabbed a bunch of clothes for her and Aiden since they're moving anyway. I figured we could stay at the hotel till we went back to New York. While packing, I thought back to the conversation and instantly felt guilty. I think that Tia was now terrified of me and that wasn't my intention, and I'm also sure that she was going to have a bruise on her neck from me choking her.
'I'll make it up to her.' I thought as I started packing up her room. I packed her makeup and clothes, before going to pack up Aiden's room. Once I finished packing everything that I think they would need for the near future, and whatever I didn't grab.
Once I got everything in the car I drove to the grocery store to stock the fridge in the room. After I was done with all my errands I made my way back to the hotel. I decided to call Isaac and ask him for a favor.
"Hello" He answered
"I need a favor," I said, not bothering with hello.
"What do you want Jay?" He asked
"I need you to babysit for tomorrow night," I said
"What?!?!" he choked out shocked. "When the fuck did you have a kid?!"
"About five years ago." I sighed
"Five... Wait a minute is it?!"
"Yeah, it sure is," I answered before he could even ask
"Wow, man. How are you taking it?" He asked concerned
"Okay, I guess... We went to the zoo earlier." I said
"And then..." He reached for more
"We had a conversation and... I may have lost my temper a little." I said guiltily
"What did you do Jason?"
"I threatened to take the kid unless she marries me, and she may have a bruise on her neck tomorrow," I told him
"You're an idiot Jason." He scolded me, "what made you so mad in the first place that you would even think to choke the poor girl?
"She told me that she thought I would just leave her if she told me about him, and it just sent me over the edge I guess."
"Woow, that's your excuse dumbass... wait is it that chick we saw Alec drag out of the bar?"
"Yeah" I confirmed
"Wow, you lucked out." He complemented
"I know and keep your eyes off my girl unless you want my sister to beat your ass again," I warned him
"Hey I was just pointing it out, besides your sister is the only one for me." He said, making me roll my eyes
"She better be." I quipped
Yeah yeah, whatever asshole. Speaking of your sister, I need to call her." He said. "I'll talk to you later and good luck." He said before hanging up the phone.
I laughed at his rush to get off the phone with me, before making the turn into the hotel. Before long, I was putting the car in park, and handing the keys to the valet. "Have someone take these bags to my suite," I demanded before walking away from him. Once I got back up to the suite I saw that Aiden was no longer in the living room and the TV was off. I walked into my room to see that Tia and Aiden were cuddled up together, asleep. I smiled at the scene before walking out and closing the door, going back into the living room, and turned on the TV. A few minutes into bar rescue and the maids were walking in with the bags.
