Jason's POV

After I left and got on the road my phone started ringing. I looked down to see that it was my mother calling. I pressed the button to connect the call to the car Bluetooth. " Hey Ma." I answered, turning off the exit to Mamma Williams' house.

"Hello Jason. How is your trip going." She asked.

    "It's going okay." I deadpanned.

"It must be considering that you've extended it." She said calmly

"Yes Ma. I have some things to take care of." I rolled my eyes

"What could you possibly have to care of down there.?" She asked clearly annoyed

    "Don't worry about it Ma."

'I'm a grown man for fucks sake.'

"Watch your mouth Jason." She scolded. "And how do you think Sarah will feel with you being away for that long."

"I don't know, and I don't care." I said annoyed by the name alone.

"That is no way to talk about your fiancé Jason."

"Well it's a good thing she's not." I gritted out.

"I don't understand why you don't just marry the girl Jason. She's beautiful, and rich..." She went on and on, and all I could do was roll my eyes.

'If she thinks I'm marrying that bitch she's dreaming...'

'Ma..." I said trying to interrupt her, but she just kept going. "MA." I raised my voice finally getting her to stop. "I am not marrying that girl." I growled. I didn't mean to get so mad at my mother, but she was really getting on my nerves, and she just wasn't getting that it was going to happen.

"Well Jason I don't know what you're going to do then. You can't take over unless you get married, and I don't see you trying to settle down." She explained for the thousandth time.

"I think I have that handled mom." I said thinking of Tiana. 'She would be the perfect wife' I thought smiling.

"I'll believe it when I see it Jason." She deadpanned before hanging up on me.

I rolled my eyes at my mothers attitude. It's always like this whenever we talk about Sarah. I think she keeps pushing the girl on me because she thinks I'm lonely. Which, granted I am but, I don't need my mother trying to set me up with someone. Especially someone that I can't stand to be around. Plus now that Tia is back in the picture, I may be getting married sooner, rather than later, but first me and Tia need to talk.

Bryson's POV

'BEEP'

'BEEP'

'BEEP'

I turned over and tapped my phone to make the alarm, before stretching out and checking my phone. Giving my notifications a quick glance, I see a few texts from friends, but the one that made my day was the good morning text I received from Asia. I smiled before texting her back and getting out of bed, to take a shower and get dressed. When I'm done with my routine, I receive a text from my sister, telling me to be outside in five minutes. Grabbing my things, I walk outside.

"Bye Granny." I yelled before walking out the door. I saw a sleek black Porsche in the front of the house.

'Why is there a drug dealer in front of my granny house?' I think to myself, squinting my eyes in suspicion.

I looked down the street for my sister's car, when the Porsche honked and the window on the passenger side rolled down. When the window rolled down it revealed that the driver was Jason.

"Get in. Your sister will kill me if I get you to school late." He yelled out.

I walked over and got in.

"Nice car," I complemented.

"Thanks." He smirked.

"Where's my sister?" I asked curiously, also noticing that Aiden wasn't in the car as well.

"In bed." He said. "I told her and Aiden were spending the day with me."

"You told her?" I questioned. My sister isn't really one to let men tell her to do stuff.

"Yeah. She needs a break and I want to spend some time with Aiden before his birthday." He explained, turning into the parking lot.

"Is that when you guys are telling him"

"Yeah," He said, parking close to my school. "Tia wants to give him some time to get used to being around me."

"Well I'm sure he'll love having you around." I assured him.

He smiled and said "Thanks kid." He sighed. "Now go to school."

"Thanks for the ride Jay." I said getting out of the car.

"No problem." He said, starting the car.

He pulled off and drove out of the parking lot. I looked down at my phone and saw that it was only 7:45, leaving me with about 20 minutes for school to start. I decided to text Asia and see where she was at.

Bryson🖤: Where are you at,

Asia🤍💕: I'm walking to the front right now.

    Bryson🖤: Well hurry up girl

    Asia🤍💕: You ain't running nobody.

    Bryson🖤: You know I'm Daddy.

    Asia🤍💕:🙄🙄🙄

I felt something poke the back of my neck. I turned around real quick to see who it was, only to see that it was Asia. She was beautiful with her white hair and dark chocolate skin, with eyes to match, and medium height and slim. She had a sweet smile and soft hands and an amazing personality, funny and sweet, and smart all in one. The only thing is that she's not allowed to date. But I was okay with that because she was someone worth waiting for, and I only got to wait another year,

"Hey." She greets me with a sweet smile.

"Wassup." I nodded pulling her into a hug. I decided to try and be slick and move my hands a little lower.

"Don't even try it Bryson Taylor," She quipped and popped her on her thigh causing her to jump back from me a little. "What the fuck you do that for"

"Cause I done told you about that shit."

"What, calling yo by your middle name?" She smirked.

I ain't say nothing just smirked at her and grabbed her hand. "Don't act like you ain't like it."

    "I don't," she blushed.

"I see you blushing" I chuckled pulling her closer to me.

"Whatever Bryson," She rolled her eyes,

'Just one more year and she'll be mine'
