The young mother held her baby girl tightly, shielding her from the wind and rain, as she ran quickly. She set the crying baby down on the front steps of an orphanage in a small village in Transylvania. The woman struggled to retrieve a note from her pocket when it tore into two pieces, one of which blew away in the storm. She tucked the remaining part of the note in the baby's blanket, banged on the door and ran away from the village.
An older woman swung open the door to find the baby crying helpless and abandon on her front steps. She picked up the child and pulled the note from the blanket which read: "T..." the rest of the name was cut off. Sadly, the old woman, looked for signs of a mother but none could be seen in the rain and she brought the baby inside.
The young mother found herself tripping in the forest mud that was slippery and wet. As she ran, she suddenly slipped and bumped her head causing her to black out. As she lay unconscious on the dirt ground, lightening struck a near by tree, causing it to catch flame. The tree began to fall to one side, crushing and burning the poor young mother.
