Crystal Lake Officers Charles Daim and his partner Aaron Creedy, both 23, were using the flashlight. The road was illumned, as they attempted to see the sign to Camp Crystal Lake.
"There it is!" Officer Creedy said.
"I see it!" Officer Daim said.
Written in large bold letters were the words:
WELCOME TO CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE. EST. 1935. TURN RIGHT.
Officer Creedy, who was driving, then saw the logs in the middle of the road.
Six long logs,
It was a trap.
"Shit! There're logs in the bloody road" Officer Daim said.
"Then let's get rid of them" Office Creedy said.
