Aria's POV

"I brought coffee!" I cheered, rushing into the busy Alvarez apartment

They all looked at me, shocked about how loud I had been, "And I might of had one."

I made my way into the the kitchen where Penelope was and handed her one of the hot beverages, receiving head kiss in return, "Thank you."

"What about mine?" Alex asked as I handed one to Lydia.

"Be a man. Get it yourself." I smiled, patting his shoulder as I walked to the couch

"Maybe Aria can show you how to take the trash out of the apartment, not just the trash can." Penelope decided, pointing to his undone chore.

"Maybe you can show me for next time." He replied, trying miserably to out smart his mother

"Maybe I can give your PlayStation to Goodwill." Penelope shot back with a small smirk as she sipped her drink

"Burn!" I laughed, fishtailing Alex's shoelaces, as I was still hyped up on caffeine

Coffee is a disgusting beverage, but being I only got three hours of sleep last night, it was the only thing keeping my brain and body functioning

"I don't have time to argue, all right? Let's go. And Aria, next time I wouldn't drink a coffee." Penelope sighed, watching me pull on the boy's shoelaces while he glared at me

"Okay!" I agreed, paying her little attention as I zoned in on my medial task

"Elena! Man, you guys are moving slower than phosphorous through biomass." The older women groaned as Elena finally joined the crowd

"Mami, did you make an appointment I get my braces off? You said you'd do it two weeks ago." Alex asked, bringing the focus back towards him

"I don't know if they're ready to come off." I smirked, leaning in to glance at his teeth

He shoved me playfully and turned his attention back to Penelope, "Just eat a lot of taffy, they'll come off on their own."

"Mom, please." He begged

"Alright, all right. Let me put it on my to-do list." She groaned, taking out a marker and writing on her arm.

I stood up from my spot on the couch, hoping to find something to eat in the kitchen to balance out the source of caffeine littering my small body.

Alex quickly followed to make sure I didn't reach for another dose of what I now deemed, "legal cocaine"

Grabbing a muffin, I shoved past a watchful Alex in order to head back to the living room and rejoin the conversation.

"You know, I did like the Women's March. I looked very nice in that pink pussycat hat." Lydia smiled

"That's right. And we really showed the patriarchy that men can no longer strut around with zero self awareness, and shove their masculinity in our faces." Elena nodded
