Aria's POV

It's been about thirty days since Schneider's relapse, and things have been going well. We still weren't on the same terms as we were before, but we're working on it, and I'm happy.

It isn't about us today, though, it's about the Alvarez children who are about to watch their father get remarried.

I finally finished putting on my dress, and did a little twirl in the mirror, before heading to meet Schneider in the Alvarez apartment.

Walking into the Alvarez apartment, I instantly stopped when I saw Alex in his tux.

"Wow." I smiled, never having seen him in something so fancy.

"Triple wow. You guys look amazing." I continued, noticing how amazing Lydia and Elena looked as well.

"Thanks. You look beautiful, Aria." Alex said, making me blush as he does with every comment he gives me.

I laughed and gave him a twirl, while Elena and Lydia talked about Penelope.

"When she comes out, make sure to compliment how great she looks." Alex warned, joining in on their conversation

As if on cue, Penelope walked out in a robe, with her hair in curlers and make up not blended on her face.

"Am I on a runway in Milan right now?" Schneider asked, from the kitchen, trying to be nice

"I get it, okay? Thank you. Thank you, but you don't have to worry about me. Yeah, I know that this is all a bit weird, but I am going to be just fine." Penelope insisted

"That's great. Take your time getting ready." Schneider said

"Oh, like I'm in a hurry to cram myself into some spanx so I can watch my ex-husband marry a less cute me?" She asked, sassily

"Alex, where is her pumice stone?" Schneider asked, nervously

"And remind me to thank your father for scheduling the weirdest day of my life right before board exams. I should be studying all day, but instead, I had to study all night." Penelope yelled

"Oh, so you didn't get any sleep?" Dr. B asked

"I didn't get any sleep!" She yelled, "Now, I get to have 150 people look at me with pity and say to me, 'Don't worry. You'll find someone."

"Oh, but you will find someone." Schneider smiled

"Shut it!" She yelled, "There are only two kinds of people that go to their ex-husband's wedding, psychopaths and heroes. Guess which one I am?"

Everyone stayed silent, too scared to say anything, in fear of making her angrier.

"I'm a hero!" She yelled, "Now let's go!"

She rushed out the door, and we all looked at each other.

"When she comes back in, no one make eye contact." Elena said
