Aria's POV

"School zone?" Dr. B questioned Elena, as we sat outside the DMV.

"Reduce speed to under 25." Elena answered

"Yes. Nun crossing the street?" He asked next

"Do not hit her." Elena said

"Did you really put that on a note card?" Alex asked

I groaned, laying my head back in boredom. Sitting outside the DMV has got to be the worst place to be on the weekend.

"I know you've never passed a test before, but this is how it's done" Elena said

"Good one, Elena." I laughed

"Why are you wearing your nicest shirt to the DMV?" Elena asked Alex

"Because this place is jam-packed with 16-year-old girls with cars." Alex said

"And what exactly do you need them for?" I asked, eyeing him.

"Just watch. It's fun." Alex insisted, as a blonde teen walked by, "What's up girl? Sick Mazda."

She smiled at him, and walked into the DMV.

"Okay, Fine. If you get to try, then I want to try." I argued, spotting a boy around sixteen walking towards the entrance.

As the boy got closer, I stopped him.

"I'm sorry. This might be a dumb question, but what kind of car is that? It's so pretty." I said pointing to the jeep he had just gotten out of.

Obviously I knew what a jeep was, but he doesn't need to know that.

"It my new jeep. Maybe I can take you for a ride in it some time." He smirked, winking

"That would be like, so awesome." I laughed, putting on a fake smile.

"Cool. Maybe I'll see you in a few." He nodded, walking inside.

"You're right. That was fun." I smiled, sitting back down next to Alex, who didn't look very happy.

"Uhh. Are you two seriously trying to hit on people. You realize you two shouldn't even be hanging out right now? Alex is still grounded." Elena said

"Girls love what they can't have." Alex shrugged, making me and Elena roll our eyes.

"After you get your license, maybe you could drive me to the mall. I need to get something for Lydia. Our one-year non-iversary is comin' up." Dr. B said

"What's a non-iversary?" Alex asked

"It's one full year since your grandmother first told me that she had absolutely no romantic feelings for me. I should get her something." He smiled
