What Happened ✰

Aria's POV

I was sitting on my bed, flipping through a Stephen King novel, when I heard my phone vibrate. I looked over to see Alex's name on the screen.

Maybe he's calling to talk about the kiss we shared. I mean it was only an hour ago, but I didn't think he'd try to talk again after I shut it down.

"What's up?" I asked, picking up my phone, trying my best to act natural

"You were right. Elena found out about me and Papi. I walking down the hallway right now, and I need you to come over and help me calm down Elena." He cried, frantically, "I don't care if it's awkward with us right now."

"Okay. Are you sure this isn't something too personal? Maybe you should figure this out as a family." I suggested, even though I began to put my shoes on

"Please, you're the only person who can help me fix this. I need you." He begged

"Okay, Okay. I'm coming." I finished, hanging up and sprinting down the hallway where I quickly reached to front door

I opened the door to only find Lydia and Penelope standing in the living room of the apartment

"Are they here yet?" I asked, looking around

"Is who here yet?" Penelope asked, confused at my freaked out appearance

Just as I was about to answer, Elena stormed through the door with Alex following her, "Don't talk to me!"

"Calm down! You're totally overreacting." Alex sighed, shutting the door behind him

"Overreacting?" Elena screamed, turning to face her brother with a face full of pure anger

"Hey, hey! What's going on here?" Penelope shouted, trying to break up the argument between the two siblings

"He's been lying about having a girlfriend." Elena exposed

"Papito's gay, too? I will be the only woman he's ever loved? Okay, I'm good." Lydia smiled, nodding to herself

"No. The P in his phone was Papi. He's been sneaking around and seeing him." Elena told Penelope

"Did you know about this?" Penelope asked, turning towards me for more information

"Not until about and hour ago." I admitted, backing closer to Lydia so I could be excluded from the argument

"Your papi's back in the country? Since when?" Penelope asked, switching her attention back to Alex

"About three weeks ago. He has a month off and he's staying with Tia." Alex explained

I had to admit, Alex was in the wrong for keeping such serious information from his family, but I knew he wanted to spend time with him without having to worry about the tension with Elena
