Genovese POV

I was returning from the airport after sending off Kamari and his daughter and the rest of their people.

Earlier that Day...

"Hello" I heard Alexis answer,

"I'm just calling to confirm if you're still up for paying for my food" I told/asked her,

"Well yes " she answered me chirpily,

"Listen if it feels like I'm forcing you then don't be bothered to come just know that I was asking you on a real date" I told her seriously,

"Well okay then Genovese in that case I would love to go on a date with you all you had to do was ask" she said and giggled causing me to smile,

"Okay send me your info I'll pick you up at 8" I told her,

"Ok I'll text them to You" she told me,

What is this girl doing to me she's making me soft I need to get it together.

Alexis POV

"Omg do you think he noticed that I am attracted to him" I asked Moe,

"Mmmm" she mumbled,

"I shouldn't have said yes so quickly he's gonna think I'm easy just like the night we met" I rambled on to myself because Moe was too busy on her phone to listen to my rant,

"Look go on the date see how much you guys like each other, vibe and see if you wanna date him that's it" she finally told me after minutes of venting,

I texted him the address to Moe's house while I tried to find clothes for our date.

Present Time...

It was 7:30 and I was almost ready I was wearing a formal spaghetti strap peach dress that Moe gave me and sliver strapped heels I need to desperately go shopping I thought to myself I hate being dependent on Moe for everything even though she didn't seem to mind, I curled my hair and left it down I was just doing my makeup now which was a natural glam,

An Hour and few minutes later

I was now sitting on the couch in the living room scrolling through Instagram on my work phone that I have also turned to into a personal one , it's thirty minutes to nine and Genovese was a no show, he didn't leave any messages or text I guess I expected too much out of that jerk and he played Me, I was just about to go change and head to bed when I my phone started ringing and it was him...

"Hello" I answered annoyed,

"Meet me at the entrance now" he said and ended the call,

Who does he think he is God, first he shows up late and then he command me to meet him at my apartment entrance , oh I'm going alright and I'm going to give him a peace of my mind..

I was now at my building entrance when I spotted him standing beside a range rover,

I walked to him furiously,

"Who do you think you are"? I asked not giving him a chance to speak I continued "you keep disrespecting me and think that I should still listen to whatever you say, have I done something to you in our past life or something for you to be treating me like this" I finished out in one breath and all he does is roll his eyes,

"Look I would argue with you but I'm frustrated right now so I won't, get in the car and let's go" he said with no hint of humor or a choice which kind of scared me,

"What, I'm not getting into your car" I said putting up a defense,

"Get in before I put you in, now" he said and by his cold facial expressions and clenched jaw I could tell he was serious I didn't want to cause a scene so I got into the car as he walked to the driver side and got in as well.
