Chapter 18

Genovese POV

"The Russians got Alexis" is all I said to Rico before he understood why I was so angry,

"We are gonna get her back boss " is all he said before going on his phone to call someone,

I started pacing the room where was I going to start why did I even put her in this situation I knew this wasn't the life for her but I was selfish I needed her so I dicided to put her life at risk for my own personal pleasures,

I took my phone out because this needed serious  immediate attention I called the only person I knew could find her Kayla, that bounty hunter could find an ant if it was wanted,

"Hey Gen, didn't know you still knew my number" she said before I could even reply to the phone being answered,

"Didn't know I did either but I'm desperate" I told her,

"You desperate that's something I would love to see" she responded,

"Enough with the pleasantries Kayla I need your help to find someone out of the Russian mob they're here in the US and they got someone I really care about so or you gonna help me or not cause we're wasting time" I said rather rudly,

"Okay but for a price" she told me,

"How much" I asked,

"Five hundred thousand" she told me,

"Okay meet me and Rico at my house in twenty" I told her easily not caring about the amount of money she wanted,

I hanged up cause everyone knows I'm not the one for ending endearments worst at a time like this.

A few hours later....

Me and Rico and my men were all standing around my meeting table trying to pitch ideas to find her,

The doorbell rang signaling the arrival of no other than Kayla herself, I went to open the door and there she was, nothing had changed from the last time I saw her long dark hair, caramel skin tone and she was dressed in full black as usual,

"Hey big head" she said with a big smile,

"Come in" is all I said before disappearing to fetch my duffel bag,

I returned to the table and drop the bag at Kayla's feet,

"Find her" is all I said before turning to my man to finish discussing how we would find Alexis,

I noticed that Kayla left as soon as she counted the cash with her money counting machine,

"This has to be a shake down by the  Russian mob they were angry because I extended my business into their territory,

"Now the leader of the Russian mob is Delawgo John-ga-lé he's been an enemy for years" I told my men while pinning a picture of him on the crime/evidence board,

"Upon reviewing the last conversation I had with Alexis she was kidnapped by Delawgo' s right hand Giffaro Muttenii he's been his wingman since they were kids, Giffaro was the son of a man that Delawgo's father killed in a mass murder he survived  so they kept him and he's been loyal to them ever since not knowing that they killed his family" I followed up with pinning his picture on the board also, I knew all this information from my father and also a few of my colleagues had told me small details as well,

"This is all I know " I told them and everybody got busy without questioning me, the tech guys were typing away at their devices others were trying to be investigative, the shooters/hunters were loading up clips and everyone was getting busy,

"We are going to find her" I heard Rico beside me as I turned my back to the table,

"I hope we find her before they do something to her cause I couldn't live with myself knowing I was the cause if her pain" I told him,
