Chapter Two: This Is My Job

"Ren!" both of Emma and Len said. I grabbed the guy from his collar.

"Listen you scum, I can't protect young master and young mistress at school, but if I knew you hurting them, I'll dig for your grave!" I shoved him at ground. "Remember." Emma hugged me.

"Thank you Ren, I'm very grateful." Emma said.

"Wow, it more like two girls comforting each other than a bodyguard saving his masters." Len said. I quickly pulled away. "Anyway thank you Ren, you may go to your school." I nodded my head and hop inside the car. Sigh, I don't have school, what should I do? Small nap won't hurt. After few minutes, I think I felt someone in front of my face.

"Unngh..." I moan.

"Ren... Ren... Wake up." A voice said. I finally woke up to see Len next to me.

"Young master? What are you doing here? Aren't you suppose to be at school?" I asked. He laughed at me.

"Hahaha... Your voice while sleeping is so girly, for a moment I thought you were a girl." Len.

"Who are you calling a girl you..." I trailed off and took step back. "N-Never mind."

"... Ren, do you know why I hired a bodyguard his year should be between fourteen to eighteen?" Len asked.

"Because you wanted male friend. That what young mistress Emma said." I answered him.

"Exactly, so stop formality and be my friend." Len said.

"Is that an order?" I asked. He nodded his head, I sigh. "Alright." I cleared my thought then glared at him. "Who are you calling girl you bastard! And you didn't even answered my question, why aren't you at school?" There was silence between us. Oh God, I got myself fired. Suddenly Len burst out of laughing.

"Wahahaha... Oh my god, in my whole life no one glared at me and called me bastard. Having a male friend is so much fun!" He happily said. I joined him with the laugh.

"Ren? Len? Why both of you are laughing?" Emma asked. I looked at her.

"Y-Young mistress? Why aren't at school too?" I asked.

"It's half past two, we came a bit early for urgent business, but we finished it." Emma asked. "But Ren, aren't you suppose to be at school?"

"Oh, I quit school since I don't have enough money." I said.

"Why didn't say so? Hold on a minute." Len said and made a call. "Ren, what your surname?"

"Brown." I said.

"Alright... Alright... Good, good. Thank you sir." Len said and hang up. He happily turned to me. "Congratulation Ren, you are officially an Seika academy student starting from next week."

"Eeehhh!" I said. Who the hell was he talking to? "Len, it's alright, I'm alright like this."

"Don't worry about the money, it's already covered. Besides I need my friend and bodyguard at school too." He said it with smile. ba-thump. Oh God my heart skipped a beat, am I sick?

"Ren you should call my brother young master, not by his name." Emma said.

"It's alright sister I told him to call me by my name." I said. Emma happily nodded her head. "Anyway Emma, Len, let go to work."

"Len, young mistress can I have a minute?" I politely asked.

"Uh... Sure?" Len said. I took my second hand old cellphone and dialed my brother.

"Sister?" Ran said.

"Yes brother, I was checking at you, is everything okay?" I said with my normal voice.
