My name is Ellen Wilson.

I am finally eighteen years old.

I am writing this letter to you from my house in Monday, Maine. My best friend Noah drove me there in an RV that I recieved for my eighteenth birthday.

I had a bucket list. There were many (questionable) items on the list, but we managed to do them all. It led to some curious mishaps, and also some lifelong friends.

Nothing on this trip went as planned. It spiraled out of control and we were all against each other and at times I just wanted to give up and go back to my mundane and ordinary life before any of this even started. But if there's anything I've learned since then, it's that difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.

If you want a simple story, a quick read, a happy ending where the guy gets the girl; then I suggest you find a different book.

This isn't a happy story. It's a story about happiness.
