It was Tuesday morning. Yesterday, Annalea told me she liked girls. I wasnt angry, hell, I don't think I was even suprised.
I was just happy that she was comfortable enough to tell me.
I yawned, sitting up in bed.
"Morning." Winn said.
"Morning Winn." I said smiling, kissing his cheek.
Winn smiled and pulled the blanket off, and then got up out of bed.
I sat there a couple minutes, giving myself time to wake up, then getting out of bed.
I got up an knocked on my daughter's door.
"Honey, time to get ready for school." I said.
"Mmhmm." Annalea mumbled.
"Lea?" I asked.
"Be up in a minute." She told me.
"Okay. Pancakes or waffles?" I asked.
"Waffles please." She said.
"Okay." I said walking away and into the kitchen to get a start on breakfast.
Annalea finished getting ready and came out to the kitchen.
"Your breakfast is on the table." I told her.
"Okay, thanks mom."
"Winn! Breakfast!" I yelled down the hall.
"Okay sweetheart. Be there in a second." Winn said opening the door.
Winn came out of the room and sat down at the table and ate.
I finished making up the waffle batter and sat down to eat as well.
"Ready to go?" I asked.
"Yeah." Annalea said grabbing her backpack and heading out the door.
