ow, this book series is finally fucking finished

noah fence but i'm kinda glad to see the back of it. but at the same time, it's hard to let go from my og ship that i will literally die for

i began this series when i literally sped wrote the entire of the plot literally 3 weeks after i took the plot from my queen PlutoTown 's plot shop (check it out there's some bangers) and then decided a sequel was going to happen at the same time i was going thru a HUUUUUGE mental block and was struggling a lot with school and anxiety, so this book struggled with me sometimes

nevertheless, i really hope that you enjoyed it, and i'm really excited to focus on other projects, like finishing my other tom holland x rapunzel fic ! and completing my new love with my spencer reid fic that i've published. (yes this IS a plug check it out x)

i wanna say a few thank yous to people who have made this series so let me settle my simp shoes in

firstly to bocauhl, who has been reading the pact for a LONG time and who i've had the pleasure of knowing for legit probably two years now (time flies yikes!) i love you so much, i love how much help you give me, how you're like a mentor to me and i really REALLY appreciate everything you've done for me, even if i don't say it as often as i should. you're special ! 🥰

for also being one of my first mutuals, but also for being my bestie !! your constant support for me i think is the reason for some time while writing better off has actually motivated me to get up and do something and write. sometimes i wonder what i do without you, and i'm so ready to always be there for you forever, seriously. this is a ride or die friendship and i've signed up to it.

and next to everyone who has read, commented  and MOST IMPORTANTLY VOTED on all the chapters of these books. i know you might not think i know you, but i do recognise your users, and i love and appreciate every single one of you !! without your love for tom and scarlett, this book would have most definitely stopped at the pact. yet for some reason, we've managed almost 70k reads and over 4k votes on just the sequel, which is amazing! thank you !

at last but NO means least, this entire journey wouldn't have even BEGUN if it wasn't for you, maria. the pact was her plot, and one of her first ones, and i snatched it after having spoken to you for literally two days. i've known you almost two years now, and there aren't any words that describes how much i love you, and how much you've helped me not only create my most successful story to date, but also see myself and mature and grow into the person that i am happy to be. there truly isn't one person on this entire earth that i've met that hasn't got me and clicked with me as much as you have, and i'm still amazed by it. you're my no homo soulmate dude, and i wouldn't be here if it weren't for you !!
