JJ was waiting behind the makeshift curtain until she was called to enter. She watched the younger girls practice their breathing and speeches while she just waited for her name.

"Jareau, Jennifer!" The stage hand called.

"Right here!" JJ smiled back.

"Oh sweetheart I didn't think you were coming back this year." The stage hand laughed. "You know the drill, just smile and honestly answer."

JJ slowly and gracefully walked upon the stage to where the host was standing.

"Jennifer!" The white haired man smiled.

"It's great to see you again. You started at Penn state university this fal right?"

"That is right Steven, majoring in Sociology."

"Wonderful! Now please step forward and present your talent."

JJ was wearing a long white dress with cold lining across the bust. It was flowing behind her. Her long blonde hair was tied in a bun on the side of her head and silver hoops filled her ears. JJ stepped forward and took a deep breath.

I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this
The fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty in the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you to a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Baby I have been here before
I know this room, I've walked this floor
I used to live alone before I knew you.
I've seen your flag on the marble arch
Love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

There was a time when you let me know
What's really going on below
But now you never show it to me, do you?
And remember when I moved in you
The holy dove was moving too
And every breath we drew was Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Maybe there's a God above
But all I've ever learned from love
Was how to shoot at someone who outdrew you
It's not a cry you can hear at night
It's not somebody who has seen the light
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

You say I took the name in vain
I don't even know the name
But if I did, well, really, what's it to you?
There's a blaze of light in every word
It doesn't matter which you heard
The holy or the broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

I did my best, it wasn't much
I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch
I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you
And even though it all went wrong
I'll stand before the Lord of Song
With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah

The entire crowd erupted in cheers once JJ had finished. The blonde walked ba k over to Steven to finish her interview.

"What an amazing performance Jennifer!"

"Thanks you." JJ smiled.

Steven continued to asked questions and over cheered at all of JJ's replies. The rest of the girls did their talents and interviews once they were done the judges deliberated and came back to announce the winner.

"Ladies and Gentlemen the winner of Miss.Snowflake is.... Jennifer Jareau!"

The crowed cheered once more Emily and Spencer the loudest voices to be heard. JJ didn't do the stereotypical squeal and cry instead she smiled, excepted the small tiara and smiled for pictures.

When everything was settled JJ headed off the stage to meet her friends.

"Wow Jayje I didn't know you could sing like that!" Smiled Elle.

"I have a few hidden talents." She smiled.

"You sure do Jen." A voice broke through the conversation causing JJ to freeze dead in her tracks.

"Not happy to see me?" Mateo asked.

"Hi Matt..." JJ spat.

"Come on JJ" Spencer took her hand "I think Mark is waiting for us in the truck." He wrapped his arm around her waist and lead her away.
