I just made a big move that I may or may not regret later.

I told Y/N I could facetime her, and I really thought I could hide my face for a little longer. Take it slowly, but we're just friends. It's not that bad...

Ooh! Maybe I'll just turn the lights off and turn the lamp in the farthest corner of the room.

After the live, I grabbed a quaker granola bar from the fridge. I scrolled on Instagram for a bit and waited for her to text me.

💭: What the actual fudge is this? He's going to FaceTime me. I look too ugly.

I opened my drawer and grabbed the brush inside and stroke the front of my hair. I ran across the room and removed the cap of my lip balm and applied some on my lips.

💭: Wait, why am I doing this?! This is just-.

I stopped and flopped down on my bed. Reached for my phone and saw that he already sent me his number. I took a deep breath and dialed it.

It ringed. After 3 minutes, someone picked up.

"Hello?" A deep voiced said.

💭: It doesn't sound like him-

"Hello, is Aida-... Aiden there?" I asked. (Pronounced as "aydeen" because he said so 🙄)

"I don't know an...ay-deen." He said in confusion.

"But he sent me this num-." That took me a while.

I immediately hanged up and was dying from embarrassment.

He sent me a random number. God, I'll friking kill him.

I immediately texted him back.

"Hello?" I said, being shy.

"Hi." A recognizable voice said.

"O-oh I-I-uhm." I stuttered, shy and currently in shock just hearing his voice.

"Oh, it's you Y/N! Heyyy!" He said back, with a happier tone.

"It's been a while since I heard your voice." He chuckled. And that gave me a tint of red on my cheeks.

💭: For some reason, I wanna scream my head off. I can feel my own heart beating, fast as a hummingbird. My feet and fingers are starting to become cold in a warm room. My stomach riding the biggest roller coaster ever.

"H-hello?" He said, wondering if I'm still here.

"Oh-uh-yeah-hi!" I said, finally free from the crazy feeling.

"Is it okay to have-a-uhm.." I said then took a big deep breath

"A...what?" He said

💭: HOW IS HE SO CONFIDENT?!

"J-just a voice..c-call." I said, still stuttering.

"Yeah, sure, yeah. I'm actually really nervous. It's been a while since I called one of my friends." He said.

"Heh. As if you have friends." I said, in a sarcastic tone.

As soon as I said that, I covered my mouth with my other hand and realized I did too much of a "move" on the first call.

"I actually do, how many times do I have to convince you?" He said, and did a light chuckle after.

💭: Welp, at least that's making me feel okay.

"It's really great to hear you Y/N!..........I have to go." He sadly said.

"Yeah, me too. Bye Aidan!" I covered my mouth.

"I-I-I mean Ay-deen." I said, hopefully he fell for it.

"Lol, bye Y/N!" He said, before hanging up.

"B-" And realized he hanged up.

My stomache was hanging from a mountain, 100000 feet above ground. My cheeks were red. Both of my feet felt cold and I could hear my own heartbeat.
