          RORY PLACED HER PHONE INTO her pocket before answering the door to her flat and letting isa in. the blonde's hair was tangled around her face due to the bitter winter wind that was blowing outside. "hiya, isa," rory smiled at her friend, who grinned back. "is that owen you were texting?" the girl asked, hearing rory's phone chime in her back pocket. "maybe," the brunette answered with a small smile. "you still romancing your way into being his mistletoe kiss?" isa questioned, causing rory to scoff. "more like he's the one romancing me. not sure why though, i'd marry that man in a heartbeat." "well, he doesn't need to know that," isa laughed, "all the more fun when he's trying to win your heart." "pretty sure he already knows," rory responded, grabbing her bag as the pair headed back out into the cold new york air.

          AS THE TWO GIRLS WALKED, they talked about many different things, such as when they were all going to connor and luca's to put up decorations considering they were the only ones living in a proper house rather than a flat. despite the constant change of topic, they always ended up with the discussion wandering back to owen. rory was rather excited about the whole scenario and how it had played out, and isa was incredibly happy for her.

          "OH MY GOD, YOU'RE GONNA get to kiss a celebrity!" isa exclaimed enthusiastically as the two were filing through racks of clothing, trying to find a gift to buy their other friend, saffron. "isa, mi amour," rory laughed, "i'm a celebrity. you're a celebrity. so are connor, luca and saffron. all our friends are celebrities." the brunette reminded the blonde, who's eyes widened. "holy shit, yeah. forgot about that one." "how?" rory chuckled. "you're the most famous of us all." "not the point. i never flooded the internet in a single week like owen and charlie did," isa pointed out. "that's very true," rory sighed. "god, it's crazy how popular he is, and he's messaging me! i think the fandom will try and end me if i do kiss him." "i think they'll love you as owen's girlfriend," the blonde countered, causing rory to shake her head: "it's just a kiss."

          RORY AND ISA MET UP with connor, luca and saffron at four as they had planned, and instantly owen was the spark of the conversation. "just saying, rory, you can't kiss him until he has our approval," luca reminded the girl, who just laughed. "luca raises a fair point, rory. you're gonna need to make a groupchat," saffy insisted, but the brunette just shook her head. "not yet. i'm not trying to scare him off with your overbearing personalities. just mine is enough," rory insisted, earning a scowl from isa and a gentle punch to the arm from connor. "besides, it's just a kiss!"
