"For weeks you've carried around this book, you practically sleep with it, and yet you have no desire to find out who the half-blood prince is" Hermione says
"I don't sleep with it!" Harry says as we walk down the snowy path to the pub at Hogsmeade.
"Well, it's true, all you do is read that bloody book!" Ron says
"Well, i was curious" Hermione says "So i went to t-"
"The library" The three of us finish and i smile at Harry
"And?" He says
"And nothing, i couldn't find a reference anyway to a half-blood prince"
"Fancy a butter beer?" I ask as i watch slughorn walk down the path in front of us

After taking our coats off, we begin to sit down at a table when Harry says.
"No, don't sit there, sit next to me" He says to me and me and Ron share a look, but swop places.
"4 butter beers" Hermione says to the Waiter.
"Oh bloody hell!" Ron says and we all look over and see Ginny sitting with Dean in a booth snuggling up together.
"But i thought-" I start to say as the others turn to me, waiting for me to finish and i glance at Harry "Never mind"

"Did you hear what she was saying, back at the pub, about me and her snogging" Ron says as we hold a drunk Hermione in our arms and i just grunt.
"Ahhhhhhh!"
Suddenly we hear a scream from in front of us and see a girl lying on the ground.
"I warned her, i warned her not to touch it!"

Sitting in the girls part of the Gryffindor dorm, i stare out the window, until i feel a presence come and sit besides me on the windowsill.
"Hermione" I say, confused as she sits opposite me "Shouldn't you be in bed already?" I ask
"I couldn't sleep, i think the butter beers making my head go all fuzzy" She says and i laugh
"Yeah, well you did drink quite a bit after the three of us got invited to Slughorns party"
We both laugh
"I don't think i'll be going" Hermione says lazily as she starts to fall asleep
"Why's that?" I ask
"Because i don't have a date" She sighs
"You don't need a date for-"
"You haven't asked me yet..." She says as she finally drifts off and i'm left to carry her to her bed and sit up, awake in mine for hours.
