Adam and Jamie had just been pulling into the station after having to appear in court for a traffic hearing when the Sarge called Adam's cell phone.
"Hey Sarge, we're just pulling in" he answered.
"You guys better head over to the hospital" Adam didn't know why he immediately thought Samantha. They got called to the hospital all the time but he'd been having an uneasy feeling all day and he knew that she was doing rotations this afternoon.
"What's going on?" he asked.
"Moore was there. He left another rose for Samantha, this time in one of those hanging file trays outside of patient rooms." He paused. "It was also after he locked her in a room with a violent patient". He rushed to add "She's okay Adam, but we need to get some statements for her file. You okay to do that?"
"We're on our way"
