Samantha thought back to the events of yesterday morning. She had tried so hard to pay close attention to Moore's ramblings, hoping to pick up any coherent thoughts that she could focus on to try to get him out of his delusion.
She was afraid, terrified, but held onto her thoughts of Adam for her strength. She knew that if she could keep Moore talking, keep him busy long enough Mrs. Connor may come looking for her and be clever enough to call Adam for help.
She wanted to stay strong for Adam.
They were just starting their happily-ever-after and she wasn't ready to let it go just yet. She had to be smart and she had to be brave.
