Ryan picked me up and tossed me over his shoulder like he does from time to time as soon as we left the chapel. now, he's shouting to anyone that'll listen. "I GOT MARRIED! To this guy," and he spins around to show me off to the crowds. "I got to marry my best friend!"

"Ryan!!!! Stop it," I say with a laugh.

"Nope. Never. I will never stop shouting that," he says and then smacks my butt.

"Yo yo yo OSU!!!!! Go Buckeyes," shouts a voice I've never heard.

I twist slightly to see some Frat bros with the OSU logo on their shirts coming our way. They recognize their star quarterback even from a distance.

"Oh shit, it IS him. Dude, you're gay?" Says bro 1.

I feel Ryan tense up, but just for a second, "yup, for this guy." He spins me around to show me off, and I awkwardly wave.

"Fuck man, really? Never would have guessed," says bro 2, and then he smiles, "congrats, you two. Thanks for the Rose Bowl win, by the way. That was a great game, man."

"Thanks. You can thank him too," he says and spins me one more time. "He's my good luck charm. Now I've gotta go be married. Go Buckeyes!"

They high five like the straight bros they are, and we head to the elevators.

Once the doors close, he sets me down gently, and I can't help but kiss him. Kiss my husband.

"Don't forget we need to call your family," he says when we pull apart on our floor.

"Thinking about my parents when we kiss? That's so weird," I say back, and he rolls his eyes. Then, I let out a thunderous laugh and follow him to the room.

"Soooooo, should I carry you across the threshold?" He asks with a smile.

"Give me a piggyback ride, and we can call it even," I say, and he bends down for me to jump on.

"Anything for you, husband," he says as I climb on.

"I love when you call me that," I say and kiss his cheek.

He falls forward onto the bed and lets out a loud "oof. Me too. Now call your family. My mom is with clients all day, but I already told her the plan."

"Ok. I'm gonna call my siblings first," I say and pull out my laptop and pull up Seth, James, and Haley for a group face time chat and hit dial.

Seth answers first with a smile, "Hey, Tyler. Look, Holden, it's Uncle Ty. What's up? Oh, hey Haley."

My sister's face pops up, and I can see she's in her kitchen, and Dev is in the background making dinner, "hola Seth. Bonjour, baby brother. What's up?"

"Think James will answer?" I ask them both. Haley shakes her head, but Seth nods.

"I have faith in him," he says and then adds, "Hey, look, I was right."

"What's up. I'm on a break at work," says my middle brother. "Hey, Ryan. Hey Dev. Hey little nephews."

My oldest nephew waves at his uncle, and his brother Carter climbs on Seth's lap with him.

After a few seconds of loving my family, I decided to go for it. "I just wanted to tell you all something really important," I say, and I look at Ryan, who takes my hand and smiles.

"Ty. What is it? Did you two get married?" Asks James impatiently.

I roll my eyes, "Yes, actually. About 30 minutes ago."
