'Beware the barrenness of a busy life.'

Friday.

Yes I freaking love the weekend.

This week has been so busy and hectic I haven't even been able to see much of Brad or Reagen. Bumper was at my house most of the time, obviously, except that he went to his parents' house to collect some more stuff and his money and other stuff he might need because they still don't wanna talk to him which, to be honest, I find horrible and whereas I do love Bumper's parents, because I've been hanging with them nearly as much as I have with Bumper, they're being total idiots about this whole gay thing.

Bumper still hasn't told Reagen either. I guess he's still waiting for the right moment and I'm not sure if Reagen will give him the reaction he wants; mine. My reaction is probably what he wanted from everyone he loves but obviously, you can't get what you want sometimes.

Life is not a wish granting factory.

I love that quote and I love the book except it's too sad at the end. But I guess that's the moral of the story.

Anyway, Brad is still bringing me coffee in the mornings and we see each other then and sometimes in class and at break - he still sits with his cronies though - and in the hallways but now we can't hang out till the weekend and this weekend we have something planned.

Brad, Bumper, Reagen, Davey and I, I mean. We're going to the yard sale, taking some of our old crap - mostly mine - and we're gonna try and sell it. Then I'm gonna drop them all off and go to work. Work has been a lot of fun actually, Kellin and I get along really well and I'm getting to know the customers quite a lot and I know what to serve the regulars. Mostly all I do is collect dirty dishes, wash them up and dry them, putting them away ready for the next use, clean the bathrooms and help out a little in the kitchen, serving customers with Kellin when I'm not doing any of that.

I've - well, both Kellin and I - also talked to the Boss and he said we could have some money to do the place up a bit and we could start this weekend so I'll start tomorrow afternoon when I go in to start my shift and close the place down all Sunday and see what I can get done, which also, Brad, Bumper, Reagen and Davey are gonna help me with. As well as Kellin, obviously. The Boss and the cook are okay with having one day off so it's Thunderbirds and all systems go.

I think this weekend will be fun and now we don't have any homework to do because we've had exams and tests all week, there's no stress about school or exams.

My mom still doesn't know I have a job, which I find funny because you would think she'd worry where her daughter disappears to, leaving Bumper in the house on his own with the puppies, but no. Because she's at home less than me. And that's saying something.

I receive a message from Brad as I'm about to sit on the sofa beside Bumper. It's now ten o'clock and my mom got home, ate and went straight up to bed. I don't blame her, I'd be doing the same if I worked so many hours. Thankfully though, she doesn't work on weekends. I think. While I've been working, Bumper has been keeping the house in order and making sure we have clean clothes, but he still leaves the ironing to me. Dammit.

What time tomorrow? Not too early, I hope.

8:30 at mine, we should be there and ready to sell at 9.

Dammit, that's early. I'll set Davey's alarm for him, just to make sure he gets up an hour before. He takes ages getting ready and he normally needs about four alarms to finally get up.

Sounds like Bumper. Then he still sleeps through two.

I'm glad I'm a light sleeper sometimes. Other times, I'm not. Anyway, I'm gonna go watch a movie with my family. They want me there now. See ya tomorrow, zombie princess. Not queen any more.
