The dream

"Daddy, I had a bad dream ." 

You blink your eyes and look at your watch 2:30. 

"Do you want to climb into bed and tell me about it , sweetie ?" 

" No daddy ."

"Why not ?"

" Because when I told you about my dream the thing wearing mummy's skin woke up ."

  For a moment you stay paralysed ; you can not take your eyes off of your daughter . The covers behind you begin to shift .
