Catch The Base

I laughed nervously at that conclusion they made. They're being too unrealistic. Sure may mga tao nga sigurong may kapangyarihang gawin yun, but for what reason? Surely it wasn't my brother who did that. Or else he'll pay a great price. This is getting too far-fetched.

"I don't believe it. Paano kung iba lang ang takbo ng oras sa Lethum Mountain kumpara dito?" Napaisip ang dalawa sa sinabi ko. See? They're concluding baseless information.

"I'm not sure. But it is Lethum Mountain we're talking about, kaya posible nga na iba lang ang takbo ng oras dun." Iyana agreed.

"Bahala kayo. Basta naniniwala talaga akong tumigil ang oras."

"I'm telling you Andrea, imposible nga yan." I was trying too hard to oppose her idea.

"Bakit parang ayaw mo talagang tanggapin ang posibilidad na yun?"

"I just don't believe in imaginations." Seryoso kong sabi at napatayo siya while slamming her palm on the table.

"Totoo ang sinasabi ko. I can feel it. I believe in my instincts."

"What logical explanation do you have para mapatunayan yang instincts mo? If my memory is correct, you've always endangered the lives in this team." Yes, ever since the beginning. All her ideas eventually lead to facing death.

"That's because someone here is so weak na kahit anong gagawin niya palaging niyang ikamamatay." Kumulo ang dugo ko sa sinabi niya. I can't believe hearing someone say I'm weak pissed me off this much.

"Baka nakakalimutan mo, your mother won't even appreciate you because you're just as weak." Huli na nang naramdaman ko ang kamao niya sa tiyan ko and before I knew it, I hit the wall. Darn I just came from the bathroom to clean!

My back certainly hurt a lot dahil sa tamang iyon, but I still managed to stand up. She held back. Galit na galit siya ngayon but she's trying to calm herself. Why? Because she thinks I'm too weak to handle her attacks? Alam kong may problema sila ng nanay niya, I have offended her. But damn, she's too much to handle kung ganito siya kagalit.

Might as well go all out.

"Baka nakakalimutan mong pwede kitang patayin kung gugustuhin ko." Right. She can kill me in one touch.

"But you won't. Dahil ayaw mong maging mamamatay tao." I saw her frown at what I said. "Andrea, palagi ka nalang nagpipigil.  Even when facing strong enemies, palagi mo nalang tinatago ang totoong lakas mo. Even the last time we're facing each other of, you could have killed me." Alam niya ang mga pinagsasabi ko. "But you didn't. Even until the very last end when I almost killed you, you remained at half of your power." Akala niya ba hindi ko alam? Just what the hell? That's an insult sa mga taong nakalaban niya. Fighting when she isn't even showing her real strength is an insult!

"So what?" Asking that question again. "Kasalanan ko ba na sobrang hina ng mga kalaban ko that I don't need to go all out?" Hindi ko alam ang mga iniisip niya. She's usually predicatable but not when she's serious.

"Hindi ako takot sayo, Andrea. If you want a fight then I'll give it to you." Hindi man ako kasing-lakas niya.

"I've already hit you, did I not?"

Sabay kaming umatake and when we were about to hit each other, Iyana caught my fist while she caught Andrea's leg. Both of us backed off sa ginawa niya.

"Ang ingay niyo. I don't want a damn fight in front of me." Iyana sighed. I can't believe Iyana's scolding us right now.
