45. Truth comes out

Zara's pov:

Zubair said,"Thank god. You are awake. I am sorry but I informed Zohaan. He contacted Ruhaani's father. He will be here soon.."

No one knows about Ruhaan then how did they call him?

I said,"Whom did you call?"

He said," Whom would we call..Arham..Ruhaani's father."

Just then I call from Arham.

He said,"Zara, Are you okay? Zohaan called me and he explained me about Ruhaani's health. You don't worry I am on my way-"

I said,"But you can't help me. You are not-"

He said,"I know Zara. I am not her biological father. I am on way to California. I will get Ruhaan there no matter what. Trust me. You trust me, right?"

I said,"Yes."

He said,"Everything will be fine. Our Ruhaani is strong. Nothing will happen to her. You take care of yourself and her. I will come as soon as possible with Ruhaan."

I said,"Okay."

He said,"I have to switch off my phone. My plane is taking off..stay calm. Don't panic. Everything will br fine. Allah hafiz. Take care."

He cut the call.

Everyone will know about Ruhaani. I should not care my daughter health is my priority. Nothing matter to me.

Ruhaan's pov:

I am not at peace since years but I don't know why I am feeling so restless since like yesterday. I called mumma but she said everything is fine. She also told me that Arham is getting married in a month. It's a good news but why I am feeling so restless.

I was in my thoughts when I heard door bell ring.

I was about to open but Adira beat to me.

I heard Arham's voice.

Arham..he is here. May be he came to invite me for his wedding.  It will be awkward I have not seen him after Aarzoo's death. I am happy that he is moving on. I know it's not so easy to move on from the one you love. It's been 4 years but still I can't move on from Zara. I still love her madly.

I walked towards the door and he quickly came to me. He got hold of my hands.

He said,"Ruhaan you have to come with me now. It's very urgent. Don't ask anything. I have no time I will explain you later. For now just come."

He looked so worried and tensed. He is sweating. I can see his eyes are moist. I have seen him in worst state when Aarzoo died but now also he looks in pretty bad state.

He said,"What are you thinking? Let's go."

I said,"let me pack my things."

He said,"Don't bother about that. I wil get you whatever you need. We have to leave immediately."

I said,"Okay let's go."

What happened? He is making me worried.

We were about to go when Adira stopped us.

She said,"Wait..you can't take him with you. What happened? First tell me. If I think it's important then we will come. We will not go alone. I will come with him."

Arham glared at her and said,"Now is not the time for you to interfere Adira. You are not needed. You will nothing but be nuisance for us. Ruhaan may tolerate your tantrums but I am not him. Right now I am in very bad mood so don't cross me. I can go to any extent. Ruhaan is going with me now so you stay out of it. Don't force me to take extreme steps."
