A thought

Bob was lying down on the bed sleeping as a break while his partner was downstairs with the kids helping out with the restaurant, he turned side to side clenching his fists tightly since he was feeling disturbed from his sleep because of a dream, while unconscious he couldn't tell if it was a dream or flashbacks but his thoughts consisted of Linda yelling at him for doing things that bothered her, even though they recently signed Divorce papers all of this still haunted his thoughts since he felt that this life he's been living the past decade or two has been wasted with someone he wasn't meant to be with, he loves his kids but he felt guilty because he didn't notice the manipulation and neglect, He woke up when his dream ended in a slap across the face, as much as it startled him he took notice that it was only a Nightmare, Bob snapped out of it trying to focus on his current relationship, the more he overthinked it he wondered how this all happened only a week or two ago he and Jimmy were mocking each other but suddenly he was kissing Jimmy Pesto and becoming intimate with him, Bob remembers that there's been some signs of this all happening, like Jimmy coming over to the restaurant to see him, purposely insulting him even though it's a lie, and many more, he looked around the room to see it was raining outside, it was gloomy and dark, he frowned feeling a sudden wave of depression, Bob turned facing the door hearing footsteps, the door creaked open, he saw a silhouette, for some reason his first instinct was to reach his hand out for it, he thought he saw Linda but it was Jimmy slowly opening the door, Bob closed his eyes to see what he would do, Jimmy walked to his bed and sat beside him, he made a small smile running his fingers though his hair feeling lucky to have him in his life, just as Bob thought he was going to leave Jimmy laid down and began spooning Bob and kissing his neck over and over, it tickled Bob causing him to giggled, Jimmy removed himself saying "I knew you weren't asleep babe!" He laughed, Bob made a kind of sad smile, when Jimmy noticed the sad look in his eyes he immediately took notice and said "What's wrong??" Bob slowly reached for his hand and squeezed it gently "Jimmy..do you actually like me? Or why did you insult me in the past?" Jimmy furrowed his eyebrows in confusion and slight sorrow, he tried to hide it, he shrugged his shoulders and said "I've always been kind of insecure about how your Restaurant gets better reviews than mine, even though I get more customers apparently it hasn't been going all that well and when I get mad one of my imperfections is to take it out on someone else to lower their self esteem down and boost mine up in the process but I haven't thought much about why, this is the most I can say..." Bob hugged Jimmy's arm and asked "You're not feeling the same way anymore..or are you?" Jimmy bit his lip not knowing what to say "Well I still feel bad every once in a while but now it's easing into pride for you, I'm glad you're succeeding, My father has never been very supportive about my accomplishments so it's a reason I often feel Jealous since I work hard.." Bob genuinely felt bad because he didn't know how to help him, out of slight pity he kissed him and said "I love you Jimmy, I'm surprised that we have such a strong connection because I felt kind of the same way, it means a lot that you're still around for me, I don't know what changed in you to start talking with me but I'm glad you took the chance" Jimmy smiled and teased him "Don't lay around all day! Come and help me you old geezer! I bet the kids are stressing out right now!" Bob nodded but just as he was about to help him up he screamed "THE KIDS!!" Bob's eyes widened at how sudden that was, Jimmy ran downstairs to use the telephone to call Trev feeling sick to his stomach for leaving his kids behind, even though he treats them shittly, Bob has really changed him for the better with his kindness and he wants the best for all the kids, he rings up Trev and asks what's been going on, Trev answered saying that he needs help, so Jimmy drove over to his apartment mortified
