I painted a blank canvas

Lush green mountains
With white peaks
In the north
Deep blue seas
Flowing calmly
Down south

Excited I picked up
An assortment of brushes
To paint the middle

Royal sandy brown
Deserts in the west
Marshy fertile
Greens on the east
Red soil below

I sprinkled a few
Pink and blue cities
Intertwined

I was running out of colours
But not my mind

Saffron for the sacrifices
Of the heroes at the borders
White for the messengers
Spreading peace since eons
Red for the love,
Patriotism of the land
Yellow for the brotherhood,
Unity binding all

Despite the myriad of colours
Shapes, forms and thoughts
The canvas blended in unison

The most magnificent impression
Of my motherland!
