Have you felt the stars?
Opened your arms
In the dark of the night
To look up at the
Shining collection
A spread of silent glow-worms

The endless expanse
Of different stories
Etched on a dark canvas
Stories that mesmerize
Through the night
Lulling the world to sleep
Disappearing with their dreams

Captivating humans
Since before the quill
A great bear to some
A nymph to few
The seven sages to others
Each speaks of captivating tales
Of heroism and courage
A bit to explain
Their presence
In the highest realms
Unexplored by any

The planes, the birds
Hot air balloons
None can touch them
Oh, not even the moon!

It must take great penance
And a fiery spirit
To burn that bright
So far away
And yet be seen
Admired
By a tiny speck of stardust...
