When I call you an endearing name
You say they sound all the same...Darling, if my words were more
To express my deep love and adoreYou'd be surprised at their shape
Candies, toffees and chocolate crepeThe sweet breeze on a lazy day
That makes you on the window stayThe misty mountains endearing call
Brush strokes vivid that would enthrallPetals of a rose, velvet and soft
Aromatic fragrance, you'd smell it oft!Rhythmic song of the small birds
Would mean more to you than my wordsBut alas, my beloved I have only a name...
And so you have the right to blame!
