we sit across from each other at the table in silence, "so, how are you?" Leah asks.
"i'm fine, you?" i ask.
"fine," she says.
"i need to know, do you, still have feelings for me?" i ask.
"i don't know," she says looking down.
neither of us talk again, silence.
"look, we both made mistakes, we should put them aside and just be friends." she says.
"yes, i agree." i say.
"friends?" she says putting her hand out.
"friends," i say shaking it.
