Well, so... a little thing happened on the way to a cover!
As you might know, in a previous chapter, ReBuilding the Village, I wrote a bit about why I choose to write eco-fantasy stories.
And, because earlier community project start-up experiences left some unwritten non-fiction books stuck in my head about 'place-making' & models for sustainable living (where I've been meaning to get to those--don't you know?!)...
And when, the Fearless & Fabulous @nattkuznetsov at Kuznetsov's Cover Shop was working on the gorgeous new artwork for Hat Creek Hank (a completely fictitious western account of happenings based in Canadian history around the Wild McLeans, a 2000 word piece that I'd started for a class assignment--now also gone completely rogue with its own soon-to-be whole Wezturn profile, next chapter on that coming up soon)...
I was stirred by 'ReBuilding the Village' to title those books and thought to ask how Natt felt about taking a stab at a design for that too.
So, here's what I wound up with--but couldn't decide--cuz it turns out it's not one, but NINE subtitled books!
How is it possible to have so many ideas for designs that turn out so well? I don't know, but Natt clearly does.
Without further ado, here are my covers...
They each tackle different perspectives but all are about neighbourhood models and empowering our lives.
