"Facts!" The three teens laughed and joked at the fast food restaurant. Stokeley smiled and took a bite out of his burger.

"How's music going?" Kianna asked him. He swallowed the piece. "I haven't really been writing, but Jahseh has." Kianna nodded, and looked down. She always had the thought in the back of her mind of why Jahseh was so protective of her. Feelings, maybe?

"Maybe i shouldn't have mentioned his name." He nervously laughed. "No no, it's okay." Kianna reassured and smiled. Ke'von looked at the both of them. "Okay well since everyone is done," He stood. "We should head back to 'y'all's place and i'll go home in case Jahseh is there."

The other two agreed and they all left the restaurant.

Meanwhile, Jahseh was already back home. He was in the living area, chatting with Melani. As she was agreeing with his statement, Stokeley and Kianna entered the house.

"Ski, Kianna, what's up?" Melani said and smiled at them. They both waved. Jahseh gave Kianna a look while she avoided any eye contact. Ski and Melani engaged in conversation, and Kianna headed towards her room. Jahseh willingly stood and followed.

"Kianna." He called. She ignored him and opened the door to her bedroom. "Kianna! Stop ignoring me." He sternly commanded. She sighed and turned. "What do you want?" She asked.

"You just fixing to avoid me all day now?" He questioned. "Yes. Can't you see i'm mad at you?"

"For what? I did nothing to you."

"Nothing to me?" She asked. "Ah, so getting mad at me for trying to hangout with friends is nothing to me. Quit that."

"Fine. Forget you." With irate energy, he stoned to his room and slammed the door.

"I fucking hate everyone." He mumbled. He sat at his desk, grabbed his pencil and paper, and went back to the song.

She's learned to be passive, but such is a loss
Accepting defeat when I foreclose the cost
For her, this was needed to be rid of the pain
You play the victim and I'll play insane

Offense or defense, passive or violent
I'll cut my wrists 'til my heartbeat is silent
With the shell in my hand, I'm equipped with the pump
Shots in her body until she is a stump

Jahseh thought back months, when Jordan was there.

All the sudden, Jahseh's fist connected with Jordan's jaw, and he fell on the floor. At the same time, Stokeley and Devin ran up the stairs.

He continuously hit him while Devin and Stokeley tried to pull him off of Jordan. Kianna meanwhile was shocked. Everything was happening so fast for her, she didn't even know what to do.

He also thought of Ke'von. He didn't know who to write about, so he left it undecided and let his lyrics cover the page.

Stomp out that fucker, his death will be slow
You made me do this, just as far as you know
If you don't exist, then my pain can be rid
So I gut the fucker then eat like a pig

Repeat. His mind told him to do so. He repeat the words.

Offense or defense, passive or violent
I'll cut my wrists 'til my heartbeat is silent
With the shell in my hand, I'm equipped with the pump
Shots in her body until she is a stump
Offense or defense, passive or violent
I'll cut my wrists 'til my heartbeat is silent
With the shell in my hand, I'm equipped with the pump
Shots in her body until she is a stump
Offense or defense, passive or violent
I'll cut my wrists 'til my heartbeat is silent
With the shell in my hand, I'm equipped with the pump
Shots in her body until she is a stump
Offense or defense, passive or violent
I'll cut my wrists 'til my heartbeat is silent
With the shell in my hand I'm equipped with the pump
Shots in her body until she is a stump

He decided to add one more thing to the end. I am the heat marksman, He wrote. There he had it, his song. He wanted this out.

Kianna lay in her bed, her gaze on the ceiling. She could only think of the question repeating in her mind; why?

Why would Jahseh get jealous? If he likes her, why? Kianna didn't think she was good enough for that type of love. She didn't want the type of relationship that she had with Jordan again.

But what if Jordan came back? She was positive he would. Just to hurt her more. Worse. She knew once he got his hands on her that would be the last time she left.

Now she was panicking. What if he was close? In the house. She sat up, fearfully looking around the spacious room. Her face felt hotter, indicating that tears were fixing to fall.

Knees to her chest, she started to have a panic attack. Her heart was beating at a quick pace, her breathing was uncontrollable. The tears wouldn't stop coming down. She couldn't stop. She couldn't think.

Melani was walking through the hallway to offer fruits to both Jahseh and Kianna. Since Kianna's room was closer to the stairs, she went there first. Before she opened the door, she heard the cries and whimpers.

"Kianna?" She opened the door and immediately took action. She rushed to her side and set the bowls of fruits down. "Kianna baby.." Melani sat by her side and held the girl in her arms.

"It's okay. I'm here." She moved her thumb back and forth, tracing Kianna's back. "Everything's okay. You're safe here."

Jahseh wanted to see what everyone was doing, so he left his room and walked down the hallway. He heard the cries and couldn't help but see what was up.

He looked into Kianna's room and saw the sad sight. He looked down and kept going. He couldn't help but ask himself, is it my fault?
