"Señorita, gising na po. Pinapatawag na po kayo ng mommy niyo!"

I groaned in annoyance at hearing that fucking maid knocking outside of my room tapos sumasabay pa ang pisteng alarm clock, kaya naman inis ko’y wala sa oras ko itong naibato kung saan dahilan ng pagkabasag naman ng isang vase rito sa kwarto ko.

"Señori—!”

Hindi ko na siya pinatapos pang magsalita, sumigaw na ako dala ng pagkairita ko sa kanya.

"Shut the fuck up, you dumbass! Bababa ako kung kailan ko gusto! Okay?!”

Fuck people!

Ang aga-aga sira na naman ang araw ko. Nakakabwesit! I immediately got off the bed and yawned using my maarte and oh
-so-expensive tone before going to the bathroom to take a shower.

But before I forget my dear fellas, let me introduce myself para aware kayo kung sino itong kakalabanin niyo kapag nagkataon.

Astrid Monteverde here, 18 years old, and I'm the only child of Monteverde Clan. I'm a bitch, brat, maldita, or whatever else you call me. I don’t give fucking damn. Bakit? Pakialam ko ba sa mga katulad niyo!

After I took a bath, I immediately came out of the bathroom wearing my bathrobe. Today’s the first day of school; they’re not yet strict, so I decided to wear something sexy, something classy and elegant—a red dress. Then I went out the door without using makeup. Do I even need that? Duh, I'm beautiful in my own way, and I was born flawless.

"Good morning, Mom and Dad." I kissed them on their cheeks bago umupo sa usual seat ko.

"Good morning, sweety. How’s your sleep?" Malambing na tanong ni mommy matapos uminom ng orange juice at mailapag iyon.

"Good, mom." Tipid kong sagot sa kanya at nagsimula nang kumain.

Dad hemmed. Napatingin ako sa kanya. Inilapag niya ang hawak na newspaper at saka nag-angat ng tingin sa’kin.

“Sweety, may pupuntahan tayo bukas. Kailangan mong sumama.” Dad said.

"Where po?"Magalang kong tanong.

Well, if you're wondering why I'm like this to my parents, it's because I'm still respectful when it comes to them. My respect depends on who you are or how you act in front of me. Moreover, my parents give me what I want by hook or by crook, so I'm also lucky to have them. Yeah, I see it that way. Iyon nga lang, sometimes they don't have time for me because they’re always busy with their business thingy. I don’t give a damn about that, though. Buti nga ngayon ay nagkasabay-sabay kaming kumain. Minsan lang ‘to mangyari.

"It's your Tito Tristan's birthday, and gusto ni Allyson na makabonding ka. Namimiss ka na niya." Tito Tristan is Allyson's father, and Allyson is my best friend since fetus.

Actually, we’re five in the group and we’re all best friends dahil bukod sa halos ay nagkakasundo kami sa pag-uugali, magkakaibigan din ang parents namin, magmula high school hanggang ngayon. At nakakatuwa lang na sumunod talaga kami sa yapak nila.

“Alright, dad.” Kumuha ako ng tissue at pinunasan ang bibig ko. “Anong oras po ba?"

"Anytime tomorrow. Wear a casual outfit dahil paniguradong maraming tao ang pupunta roon,” Mayaman din kasi sila Allyson kaya ganyan nalang tuwing may ganap sa kanila.
