I sliced the tennis ball that charged at me in half as more came right after

"Yo rin" I heard shima walk in as The machine ran out

"What," I asked as I wiped the sweat off my face with my shirt

"Wow I didn't think you even had to train," Shima said as I scoffed

"If only...but I want to kill some people at some point and the last time we fought I got my ass beat" I thought of Tatara when we fought and arima when he defeated kaneki

"Kill? Huh...mind if I step in," Shima said when I shrugged

"Go ahead...want to make it a competition" I smirked as he smiled

"Sure you can take a loss?" Shima laughed

"Oh so you're confident...let's see what you got scaredy-cat," I said remembering his fear of bugs

"Fuck off man" Shima laughed and threw one of the stray tennis balls at me As I caught it

"You ready" I asked

"When you are," Shima said and assembled his staff as he got in a stance

I sliced the ones coming at me with my sword as I peeked over at Shima seeing him spin his staff and hit them away

"Not bad," I said

"Not too bad yourself...but this is nothing for you is it" Shima grunted as he hit them away spinning his staff around himself as the machine ran out

"Guess we can't really tell huh" I sighed

"Not yet at least" Shima laughed

"Oh great" I chuckled as Shima looked over to the hallway to see bon and konekomaru walk in

"I thought your skill sets didn't need this kind of training," Shima said

"It doesn't...but mephisto needs you two" bon snarled

"Alright...come on Shima," I said as I walked by him feeling his stare on my back

"Why are you so calm? Even after I said those things" bon said

"Because I don't care" I laughed and walked out of the training room

"Rin" Shima chuckled as we walked

"He's making such a big deal out of it if he hates me then just hate me and leave me alone" I sighed
