"Daddy!" Christopher heard his kids yelling

"Hey guys, what are you doing here?" He asked and looked at Carolyn

"I kept thinking about that little girl.. I wanted to check on her" Carolyn admitted

Christopher could only smile "Well guys, come with me and we'll go find a vending machine and get you something sweet while mommy quickly goes to check something" Christopher said

Carolyn entered Meredith's room and saw the little girl was in a very light sleep as she kept stirring until her eyes opened wide and she started vomiting all over herself

"Oh-" She muttered. It woke up Richard who was asleep on a chair in her room

"I got her" Carolyn smiled at Richard before turning back to Meredith

"Is it okay if I go shower real quick? It has happened a few times" Richard said with sadness in his voice

"Of course Dr Webber" Carolyn replied

"My tummy hurts" Meredith wined

"Shh, let's get you changed first" Carolyn brushed her fingers through Meredith's hair

Carolyn helped Meredith out of her gown and called for another nurse to help her change the sheets

"Better now?" Carolyn asked Meredith once she was finished

"Much better" Meredith quietly admitted

"Mommy?!" A 6 year old Amelia Shepherd ran in

"Hey, don't yell" Carolyn said sternly

"Mommy, who dis?" Amelia asked

Carolyn looked at Meredith who was slightly smiling at the little girl

"This is Meredith" Carolyn quietly said

"Amy, dad said you can't just enter the patient's their rooms" Derek said as he entered the room "Oh.. hi" He smiled at Meredith

"Hi" Meredith whispered back

"Mommy, come on! I wanna go home play with my dolls" Amelia whined

Meredith's eyes grew wide and Carolyn wasn't sure if it were the words house or dolls

Derek started to look around the room as his dad came to get them "Meredith, we're sorry" Christopher apologised

"It's 'kay" She smiled slightly

"I'm Amelia! Can I show my doll to Meredith?" Amelia asked Carolyn

"Meredith, do you feel up to it?" Carolyn asked the little girl

Meredith nodded her head and smiled a bit. Christopher lifted Amelia onto the bed and watched how she immediately started telling Meredith the story about her dolls

"Cool" Meredith said with big eyes

The small conversation between the two girls seems to drain the life out of Meredith

"Okay guys. I think it's time for Meredith to go to bed again, don't you think?" He asked Meredith who shrugged in response

"Oh, Meredith, I can come back tomorrow!" Amelia suggested

"Hey, hey, little one.. Who said you could make your own plans?" Christopher laughed

"You have to ask Meredith and only if she feels up to it" Carolyn added

"Meredith, can I come back?" Amelia asked with a huge smile

Meredith smiled back and nodded before a yawn escaped her mouth

"Now let's go so Meredith can sleep" Christopher said

"Bye, Meredith. I'll be back tomorrow" Carolyn said and brushed the hairs out of Meredith's face

"Bye, Carolyn, Bye Amelia" She smiled as her eyes started to droop

"I'll come by a few times and page me if you need me" Christopher said against Meredith as Richard returned

Meredith nodded and drifted back to sleep only to wake up again a few hours later as she started vomiting. Richard ran to her side and she was able to throw up into the bucket. She felt awful, her head was throbbing and her stomach hurt but she had no idea where she was. She looked terrified but immediately recognized Richard

"Hey, you're okay" Richard soothed her back as she stopped throwing up. She looked around her room, trying to find out what was happening

"Meredith, do you know where you are?" Richard asked her but she slowly shook her head no

"Mommy? I want mommy" She started to sob

"You're at the hospital, Meredith" Richard said and paged Nelson and Christopher

Meredith kept whimpering in Richard's arms when Nelson entered the room

"What's wrong?" He asked

"She didn't know where she was" Richard said

Nelson looked at the little girl and felt bad. He started asking her several questions when Christopher ran in the room, slightly out of breath

"You paged?" He asked and slowly walked closer to the bed

"She was having memory loss but I don't think it's because of the chemo, this is definitely the tumor doing" Nelson said

"We should take her for new scans, see if it progressed even more" Richard said

"I'm scared her motor functions or even speech will be affected" Nelson frowned

"Mommy?" Meredith asked again

"Meredith, we're here" Christopher grabbed her hand as they led her to the MRI room

"No, I don't wanna!" She cried out

"Meredith, we need to check you out" Arizona said who was paged to the hospital

"No!" She cried

"I'm coming with you" Christopher blurred out. He helped her into the MRI machine and kept holding her feet as she went in. He kept rubbing her feet to let her know he was still there as she was in the big tunnel

Once it was over, Meredith was absolutely exhausted and kept rubbing her hand with the palm of her hand

"Okay, Meredith. I have to go discuss your treatment plan now, can I ask a nurse to stay with you?"

"Is Carolyn here?" Meredith whispered

"Not yet. I'll tell her to come see you once she's here. Can I page Laura instead?"

Meredkth shrugged her shoulders "I want mommy but she won't come"

"I'm sorry Meredith but Laura will be here and she'll stay here the whole night, okay?" Christopher checked and Meredith nodded in response "Goodnight Meredith" He smiled as he left her room and went to the exam room where the other doctors were already debating what would happen next

"She needs radiation!" Richard yelled

"She's too young. Chances are way too high that she'll have brain damage" Arizona said sternly

"I agree with Dr Robbins.. I really wanna cut the tumor out but there's no way I can get to it when it's this big, it needs to shrink first"

"IL-2?" Christopher suggested

"She's 6.." Arizona sighed, knowing the side effects of such a hard chemo treatment

"We have to try.." Christopher sighed. They got interrupted by their pagers going off, with the message 'Meredith - 911'
