Chapter 2.10

A/N: I did it again I'm sorry!! I'm gonna wright a bunch of chapters and post twice a week.

When we got back to The Chateau I went straight to the room JJ had claimed as his without saying a word. I changed into JJ's black hoodie and grey shorts. A few minutes later JJ came in. I heard the rustling of him changing and then he climbed into bed. We laid in silence until JJ spoke.

"I'm sorry." He said quietly.

"For what?" I asked turning to face him knowing exactly what he was talking about.

"You know what I mean."

"You scared me."

"You don't have to worry about me." He said brushing a piece of my hair behind my ear.

"I just don't want you to get in trouble."

"I doesn't matter, Em."

"Yes it does!" I raised my voice slightly.

"I'm gonna end up in jail anyway."

"Stop saying that! Do you not understand how that makes me feel."

"Why do you care?"

"Because I love you, and I don't want to live without you. I don't know what I'd do with myself if you left me."

"I'm never going to leave you. I'm sorry." He pulled me into him. "I love you."

"I love you too." I said before falling asleep.

They next morning when I woke you JJ wasn't beside me. I walked outside and saw Pope, Kie and JJ in the little shack. I walked up to JJ and hugged him from behind.

"Good morning sleepy." He said.

"Morning."

Kiara groaned "can you guys go be cute somewhere else?"

"No." I said sitting down beside her as JJ went back to waxing his board.

"That's a lot of wax on your board, man. If you put too much wax it'll be slippery." Pope told him.

"Are you telling me how to wax my board Pope?" JJ asked.

"No, I'm just saying that's a lot of wax."

"No, no, no,no. You're telling my how to wax my board."

"I'm just saying that's a colossal waste of wax." Pope shrugged.

"Guys! Really?" Kie asked.

"Do you here that?" JJ questioned.

I heard the familiar sound of the Twinkie's horn.

"No fucking way." I said.

"Are you serious?" Kie asked as we all ran over to John B.

"Guess who's out the click boy!" John B said.

"No freaking way man."

We all hugged before JJ spoke.

"How'd you do it? You bust out?" He asked.

"They dropped the charges." John B informed us.

"They dropped the charges?" Pope asked.

"That's phenomenal." Kie said.

"So you're telling me, I did all that work for nothing?" JJ asked.

"Your an idiot." I told him.

"You mean the most elaborate escape plan of all time?" Pope asked sarcastically.

"Oh, fool proof."

"Wait where's Sarah?" John B interrupted our bickering.

We all looked at each other.

"No, no, no. Where's Sarah?" He asked again.

"She went to go meet Wheezie last night." I told him.

"She didn't come back." Kie finished.

We walked to the dock and talked for a while.

"So Sarah just dips and doesn't call?" John B asked.

"I don't know man," Pope said. "She just left her bag, didn't tell anybody.

"Okay, dude, I really think Ward got to her." John B told us. "I mean the dude tried to have me killed in jail.

"What?" I asked adjusting my head in JJ's lap.

"Yeah, he set a somebody to the prison, tolled me up and almost killed me."

"Are you serious?" Kie asked.

"Do we know who this dude was?" JJ asked running his fingers through my hair.

"No, I have no idea. Dude I swear to god one day I'm gonna kill that son of a bitch."

"It okay." Kie said.

"No, Kie it's not okay. We gotta find Sarah."

"No, literally it okay. She's right there."

I looked over and saw Sarah on Topper's boat coming towards us.

"John B?" She asked standing up. "John B!"

"What the hell is she doing with Topper?" I asked.

"Oh my god he's out." She said running to the bow.

When she got on the dock she immediately hugged John B.

"Oh my god, I'm so glad you're okay." He said.

"I didn't know if I'd see you again." Sarah told him.

"What happened?" She asked after they pulled away.

"Uh... they dropped all the charges."

"What?" She asked with a laugh.

"Yeah, I'm a free man."

"That's amazing." They hugged again.

"I know it's great but listen Sarah, they're coming after Rafe."

"Good. This completely unhinged. He jumped me last night, that's why I didn't come back."

"Yeah man, Rafe has lost his mind." Topper finally spoke. "Literally almost drowned his own sister. Thankfully I got there just in time."

"Yeah, he did." Sarah nodded.

"Well I guess I owe you one, Topper." John B said.

Topper chuckled. "It's all good, I mean, somebody had to rescue your girlfriend, right?"

"Tea?" I whispered to JJ.

"Uh, that's funny, because she's not actually my girlfriend." John B top Topper.

"What is she?" He asked.

"Tell him." John B told Sarah.

"I'm with him." Sarah said.

"Oh, you're with him? Okay, it clear. You guys clear on that?" He asked us.

"I think it's clear that you gotta go." JJ told him.

"Topper! Thank you." Sarah said hugging him.

"Glad you're okay." He told her.

"He looks like he kisses his cousins." I said as Topper left.
