*start song*

The Outer Banks. It was paradise on Earth. Two tribes, one island. The Pogues were the working class who make a living busting tables, running charters and on their side of the island. The Kooks were the rich folks. The huge mansions and multiple fancy cars on the driveway, yeah that's us.

Sarah, Rafe, Topper, Kelce and me. The Kook Tribe as we called ourselves. Our group consists of two main couples, Sarah and Topper and me and Rafe. Rafe and Sarah were the usual rich siblings living in the biggest house on the island. Their dad Ward was the millionaire of the island, he owned the Cameron Development real estate company. Ward was married to Rose, one of the many woman people looked up to. She was married to the richest man in town, many woman wanted to be her.

Sarah was the 'Kook Princess' as the Pogues called her. She was dating Topper as I said, that's how a lot of the island knew about him. John B, one of the Pogues, was still trying to get with her but she seriously wasn't interested. Sarah was my best friend and as I was dating her older brother we were very close. We had many sleepovers mainly at the Cameron's house, as Sarah's room was amazing!

She had the prettiest decorations on her wall. The had photos in pretty frames of me and her, her and Topper and her and her little sister Wheezie. Her walk in wardrobe was a bigger than my room at home. The endless amount of clothing choices that girl had was insane. She could never say she had nothing to wear.

Rafes room was the complete opposite to Sarah's

Rafes room was the complete opposite to Sarah's. His room was dark and hardly had any light shining in. His clothes were always scrunched up in a pile on the floor which I always ended up putting in the laundry basket for him. His clothes were hung up in a small closet to the side of his huge desk, covered slightly with a mesh curtain. He didn't take much care in his room as he was mostly either sleeping or at my house with me. His cork-board above his desk was covered in post it notes I had written cute notes on for him or photos of us together. There was one photo which was in the middle of the board of just me one year at midsummers.

My dress flowed beautifully. The material was very light and thin to make me feel cooler in the heat. The blue colour matched the ocean in the background of our midsummers photos together.

Us Kooks were always seen as stuck up and obnoxious but once you get to know us we aren't like that at all. When I first met Rafe, he was like the stereotypical Kook, hating on the Pogues who actually weren't as bad as everyone had told me. Ever since I had got to Outer Banks last year, I had been told by my parents and the Cameron family that the Pogues were just bad people. When I met Rafe he didn't seem as bad as I had been told, he opened up to me after a couple months before we became official. After we both opens up to each other, I seemed much happier like everything was off my chest and I felt like I could be more free with him. We had been dating nearly a year and it was the best year of my life. There had been ups and downs within our relationship with parents being involved and girls trying to break us up causing some arguments but all was good now.

A/N: I forgot to finish this ages ago but here you go. It's quite short and didn't end how I first wanted it to.

But Happy Valentines Day! <3

Rafe is the only thing keeping me happy today lmao.
