Y/n Pov:
Rafe Cameron. He was known to be the hottest Kook in Outer Banks. We had never really spoken except for the odd couple words at parties. He wasn't the best person to be around, he was addicted to drugs and when high he got very aggressive. I have many friends who have dated him before and have said how aggressive and obsessive he gets when high. I have wanted to date him once before when I was a lot younger and more naive, I was 16 at the time and he was 17. But I have grown up since then and can now see him for who he is, a drug addicted murderer. Yes he was hot in some aspects, but his actions were finally catching up to him. Everybody stayed away from him, even his own sister Sarah. I wasn't that close to Sarah I just knew her from when I was hanging around with the Pogues last summer. She was dating John B and they both were happy together. Her ex Topper however wasn't extremely happy, he tried to get back with her multiple times. He has since gotten over that and finally realised she wasn't going back to him.

I am now dating Topper Thornton. The Pogues don't really talk to me much anymore since I got with him. Kiara is still okay with me but she only ever says a few words to me if I ever see her. I don't really have anyone to talk to anymore other than my boyfriend or my brother, Wyatt y/l/n. My parents were never really around, they were either working in the offices at the Cameron Development or abroad for work selling holiday homes to rich, stuck-up families.

I normally just sit around the pool or go to the beach during the day and go to parties at night. I drink loads to drown out my loneliness, I am always hungover the next morning but it's so worth it. Recently, Topper has began to ignore my messages and me in general ever since Rafe got sent away to England for an anger management camp.

It was now Summer, and most people were either away at Summer camps or stuck in Outer Banks. I was unfortunately left in the OBX to deal with my older brother while we were home alone once again. Our parents were in Charleston selling homes once again. Topper had gone away to a Summer camp and I was just left bored and alone.

I spent the first few days just catching up on sleep before going to the first Summer party that was hosted at the Cameron's house. Rafe must be back from his anger management camp. I dressed up in a red tight fitted dress with some black heels and a cute little black bag which fit my lip gloss, phone and keys in. I walked all the way there, my feet killing in the high heels. Once I got there I grabbed a drink and collapsed onto the sofa next to Rafe. They were all playing a drinking game which I gladly joined in on. It was a truth or dare game with shots.

"Rafe truth or dare?" This girl asked smiling at him.
"Truth." He says having a sip of his drink.
"Have you ever slept with multiple girls in one night?"
"No comment." He says smirking before taking a shot.
"You." The girl says pointing at me. "Truth or dare."
"Truth I guess."
"Hmmm. Have you ever cheated on someone?"
"Nope." I say taking a sip of my drink.
"Ok she must be lying."
"Ummm and where did you get that from?"
"Your literally dating Topper you surely are bored by now? Right?"
"No I'm not bored thanks."
"Where is he then?" The girls around her snicker. Wow must be hilarious that I'm not with him at every second of the day. I smile at them.
"Summer camp, where are your boyfriends? Oh wait none of you have one you too obsessed with Rafe I forgot." I say smirking at them. They stop laughing and stare at me. "Take a photo it will last longer." Everyone laughs and she goes red and sits quietly for the rest of the game. It soon ends and everyone walks off except for me and Rafe who just sit there.

"So your still with Topper? Surprising to say the least." Rafe says finally breaking the silence.
"Yeah I am. How is that surprising?"
"Just is. A pretty girl like you stuck with a guy like him, it's just a shame isn't it. You will be mine." He leans in and kisses me. It surprises me and I don't move away. Everyone crowds around clearly wanting something to happen. All of a sudden, Rafe gets shoved onto the floor, I turn around to see Topper stood there staring at us both.

"Uhhh. Aren't you meant to be at camp?!"
"Yeah I was meant to be but clearly I shouldn't have even left at all."
He grabs my arm and pulls me away to the bathroom. "Topper! What the fuck!"
"Why were you kissing Rafe?!"
"He kissed me and I didn't have chance to move away."
"Bullshit." He turns away from me.
"I swear! He kissed me! Even ask him!" I shout.
"Do you even love me?" He says sighing.
"Why the fuck would you ask me that? Of course I love you!"
"No you don't! It's obvious you love Rafe."
"Umm I'm sorry what?! I've never even spoken to him up until today which is when HE kissed ME!"
"No I don't want to hear it. I'm done we are done!" He says storming out the bathroom. The door slams in my face. "Twat!"
I walk out the bathroom fixing my hair, I walk into the kitchen to grab another drink as mine has magically disappeared. I see Topper sat on a bar stool at the kitchen counter already talking to other girls. Well, he can't complain at me he's already moved on. All eyes are on me as I walk back into the living room and take a seat next to Rafe. "Ooooooooh!" Everyone turns to look at me.
"It's not that interesting all I did was sit down shut up for christs sake!"

"Thanks for that Rafe. Happy you got your wish?"
"What you talking about?"
"Me. Now single. Thanks to you!"
"Well guess I'm just lucky." He goes to kiss me again.
I put my hand over my mouth which he doesn't realise and he kisses my hand.
"Not happening so don't even try it."
He smirks at me again and gives up.

Weeks later, Rafe and me were hanging out a lot more. I was able to go to see Sarah more often and I wasn't held back by Topper. We got closer and I even became friends with John B and the Pogues again. Life was great and Summer was now jsut getting started. The Pogue parties were amazing! Although JJ did nearly kill Topper when he put a gun to his head which didn't surprise me he had it coming. The same night, Topper comes walking over me to clearly wasted and asks "could you give me another shot?"

"No you broke up with me remember." I say laughing at the drunk boy in front of me.
Topper begins to try and grab me and leans forward towards my face. "Uhh what are you doing?"
Rafe sees from wherever he was stood and comes rushing over to stop it. The Pogues had already left by then and I was stood with some random people who just watched for their entertainment. "Topper leave her the fuck alone man."
"She's my girlfriend what do you mean." He says nearly falling onto the sand after tripping over air.
"Topper, she's not your girlfriend anymore. Now come on your drink and need to rest." He tries to lead him away but Topper shoves him hard. "Come on man, I'm trying to help you."
"I don't want your sodding help!" He shouts in Rafes face. "She is mine."
"Ok ok. Two can play at that game. Your the one who broke up with y/n! You can't just coke crawling back when you feel like it and think she's all of a sudden 'yours' again. You don't own her!"
Topper goes to throw a punch but misses badly and topples onto the sand face first.
"She is mine and will forever be mine."
"I'm sorry that you seem to be confused. She belongs to me. That girl is mine." Rafe says defensively.
Noe's the time to interrupt. "Actually I'm nobodies. Nobody owns me and I don't belong to anybody I am not an object thanks."

Nothing much happened after that. Topper got taken home by some random guy and Rafe well he went home to in a bad mood. And me. Well, I went back to the Cameron's house.
