After the battle, Eva 01 peaceful came to NERV HQ where he made his way to the Geofront where it began spending its time.
The scientists studied Eva 01 vigorously.
Eva 01:(gathers wood)
Eva 01:(makes house)
Eva 01:(stares at the badly made house)
Eva 01:(sighs at how small it is)
(NERV HQ)
Misato: What's it been doing?
The commander arrives with a cup of coffee.
Maya: Building a house.
Misato:(slightly chokes) Huh?!
Maya: It gathered trees and attempted to make a house. Unit 01 is surprisingly dextrose.
Misato: How have the scouts been doing.
Maya: It found all of them, picked them up, and gently placed them at the exit.
Maya: How's Shinji?
Misato: He's really fed up with this. He's refused to acknowledge Nerv anymore.
Maya: We all have our limits.
Misato:(looks at the monitor)
Misato: What's it doing now?
Maya: Hmm...?
Maya:(changes camera view)
Maya: Looks like it's tending to some kind of melon field. With much difficulty.
Misato:...
(Squash)
Eva 01: Grrr...
(Squash)
Eva 01: GRRRR...
Taking a step back, Eva 01 sits down with his legs crossed in deep thought.
Eva 01:(thinking)
Eva 01:(realizes something)
Eva 01:(waves at the camera)
Eva 01:(points at back of neck)
Eva 01:(makes small gesture with fingers)
Eva 01:(waves to come over)
Eva 01:(gardening poses)
Misato:... I hate charades.
Maya:(presses button to activate microphone)
Maya: Do you want us to get a Gardner?
Eva 01:(shakes head)
Maya: Hmm... Shinji?
Eva 01:(nods)
Misato: I'm sorry, I don't think Shinji is ready to see you.
Eva 01:(pouts)
Eva 01:(realizes something)
(CRUNCH)
Eva 01:(silent scream of pain)
Having broken his finger, Eva 01 gives a pained thumbs up to the camera.
Misato: What the hell!?
Maya:... Shinji's link with Unit 01!
Misato:!
Misato: I'll call him!
(Elsewhere, several minutes ago)
