My past

I woke up before Miguel and told Danielle to tell him I was going on a supply run. We were running real low on food. So after my little scavenging for food for like four hours I started to head back to the campsite. I love heading to town on my own. This is the only time I can get alone time. They're now so many people at camp. Okay i guess two people aren't that many but still. I don't get alone time with Danielle breathing down my neck twenty four seven.

When I'm not with Danielle I'm with my boyfriend Miguel. You hear that? I just called Miguel my boyfriend. So yes to answer your question we made it official. It's nice having a boyfriend being able to call someone that, when I have had no one in my life. Okay getting off topic. I'm probably going to regret getting close to him but it sort of just happened. I've never had a boyfriend before so this is all new to me. I think me and Miguel are hitting it off since we've been together for a month.

With that thought I entered camp and approached Danielle with all the goods I got. "Hey Bel." Danielle says as I hand her the bag. Danielle right now is making skinning squirrels I hunted. I taught both Miguel and her how to skin animals.

"Where's Miguel?" I asked.

"I think in your guys tent." I nod and head that way. Me and Miguel decided to start sharing a tent. We still have his tent as a backup. I get to the tent and unzip the thin fabric. I enter and see Miguel organizing our tent. When I entered his head snapped up to the direction I came in from.

"Whatcha doin'?" I ask

"Organizing the tent." He replies simply. I nod and help him. I put all my weapons in one corner all together besides one knife which I always keep under a pillow.

"You know you can put your weapons in the bucket we made?" Miguel asks, watching me. I shrug before looking at him.

"I know I just feel better when I have my weapons with me." I tell him with a small smile. He nods. After about ten minutes we finished cleaning up our tent.

"How was scavenging for food?" Miguel asks after a moment of silence.

"It actually went pretty well. There's still a lot of food in this spot." I said. "It's like no one has come to this town. It's like no one has touched it yet. I bet this town was a ghost town." He nods. Then we sit in comfortable silence for a little while before Miguel breaks it again.

"I–." Hr hesitates so I look at him. "Can I ask you something?" He asks me cautiously.

'Sure." I raise an eyebrow curiously.

"I was wondering where you got that scar?" Miguel says. With that I become guarded and my walls go up.

"What scar?" I ask nervously. I honestly don't know which scar he's talking about. I never change in front of him so he doesn't know about my scars on my back.

"The one on your cheek." He responds. My hand subconsciously goes to my cheek.

"I dont know what you are talking about." I say letting my hand fall to my side.

"Don't lie to me." Miguel tells me.

I glare at him. "Fine, you wanna know the story? It's not that important, I just got into a fight when I was in school."

"I know when you're lying." He says. I roll my eyes. "Plus that scar looks like a blade did it, not a fight." Miguel said matter of factly.

"Well if you wanna be noisy then i'll tell it straight to your face. It's none of your business." I snapped.

"If you want this relationship to work we can't keep secrets from each other." I look at Miguel in disbelief.

"If you want this relationship to work you better keep your noise out of my business and past." With that I stormed out of the tent with Miguel on my heels.
