Chapter 13

~Flynn~

2 days ago I had saved the Princess Tatiana Ernessa Aliah Serena Greystone of the Spirit Tribe

after Weeks of her being out through enough pain and suffering because I didn't get there fast enough to save her.

2 days ago I lost my sister because she tagged along when i said she shouldn't. She was the only one to die that night and though I didn't want to admit it, it was my fault Elizabeth died. Just like it was my fault Rosemary had. I had been reassured by the king that I did what I could no death had been there fault, and it wasn't my fault it took so long to get to the princess But I still felt guilty. I should of been there faster. "The princess wishes to see you."

Flo, one of the maids said. I nodded a thank you in her direction before walking (well running) toward Tatiana's room.

I opened the door and ran to her grand bed. "Princess?"

I looked at her pale face surrounded by a frame of dark hair. "Flynn"

"I'm here Tatiana"

She smiled and tried to sit up but winced. "Take it easy, lay down" she nodded "I have something for you, I was supposed to give it to you when we got you back, but I forgot about it"

I pulled the necklace out of my pocket, it gleamed in the sunlight that streamed through the windows. "This is from your father, it will protect you"

She laughed and said that she could of used it earlier I just smiled and nodded. I don't think she realized how much I missed her. How much I needed her. How much I loved her.

"Put it on me, I want to wear it" I put the necklace over her head and Opened it, pulling out the vile if crystal clear liquid. "open your mouth" i say, if she wanted to ask why she didn't and obeyed me anyway. i put a drop of the potion in her mouth and she swallowed it. i noticed the difference it made immediately the cutes on her skin lightened becoming feint scars and the bags under her eyes softened. "What... What did it do to me?"

I laughed for the first time in days, overjoyed that it actually worked. "It healed you"

5 days later I was up and running again, the necklace never leaving my neck except when I was in the shower. I had continued using my powers and had gotten much better at them. I could now make illusions. My favorite to make was a fox cub, it followed me around and when I didn't want it, I made it disappear. I knew it wasn't a real fox, but I had always loved then since I was a child, so it was better than nothing.

I was headed down to my birthday tea, which i wad notified 5 minutes before hand. i was in the training grounds brushing up on my sword fighting, dagger throwing i had down pack but hey never know when you might need it. Apparently I was told yesterday about the dinner. But I don't believe them, so it was a rush to get ready on time. I was reminded I had a big ball tomorrow to celebrate with the whole kingdom, which I remembered thankfully. I had to wear this huge purple poofy dress which was nice, but really heavy, but for the party I was wearing a simple purple gown with my favorite converse on underneath. I was never going to wear heels. Unless the people around me wanted to get severely injured every time I fell over, which would be frequent.

I walked along with Flynn who was now my personal guard and my illusion fox- which I had called well, illusion. Yeah- I was real original when it came to names. We soon reached the dining room and as soon as I opened the door I was showered with gifts. I made everyone calm down and made then wait to sit at the table before I opened any. When I moved towards the table, I saw my mum. What was she doing here? She didn't know of this place, did she? She would of told me, thousands of questions boiled in my brain. But before I could ask any, a scream escaped from my lips as I ran towards her and hugged her like I hadn't seen her for a million years.
