I'm on my knees in a bed of violets
They used to dance in her hair
Each petal a promise beside her roots
The love she used to wearThose petals will perish at the death of day
When the sun falls into the sea
When she wears his ring and ends my world
Knowing she wanted meMy bones will rot within this garden
Aching for her voice
She sang like a siren, but drowned a maiden
I knew it wasn't her choiceWill she live another thousand years?
Or will she die in the night?
The moment they rip her from my arms
And force her into whiteShe's a ghost beneath this bed of violets
They'll die within her hair
Each petal a promise that I couldn't keep
The love she will no longer wear
