Meet Again

Dresses

"Alright, he looks great" Dr Harold said after giving Nicky his checkup "we just have to do the shots now"

Rory took a deep breath

"I'm gonna be really quick" He told them "it's 20 seconds, one in each leg. I'm telling you now that he's gonna cry, but as soon as I'm done you can pick him up and snuggle him, and usually they only cry for a few seconds"

"Ok" Logan said

The Doctor gave Nicky his shots and as expected Nicky started crying. As soon as the doctor was done Rory picked Nicky up and held him close to her chest.

"Shhh" Rory gently rocked Nicky

"You ok?" Logan asked and put his hand on Rory's back

"I'm not the one who just got stabbed" Rory said. She knew she was being a little dramatic but she didn't like seeing Nicky in pain.

"Are you ok?" Logan asked again

"Yes" Rory said

A couple of hours later Nicky was napping and Rory was just about to leave to go dress shopping with her mom and sookie.

"I'm leaving" Rory said as she walked into the kitchen where Logan was working on his laptop.

"Have fun"

"Kiss" Rory said and kissed Logan

"See you later, Ace"

"Bye"

"Pump!" He called out after her

Rory walked back into the kitchen and grabbed the bag that had the breast pump in it "I should probably take this with me"

"Probably" Logan chuckled

An hour later Rory walked into the bridal shop where Lorelai and Sookie had arrived just a few minutes earlier

"Hey, how was it?" Lorelai asked

"Emotionally draining" Rory said

"What?"

"Nicky had his six month checkup this morning" Rory told her "which means he got his shots, and I feel terrible" 

"Wow! He's six months already?" Sookie asked in disbelief

"I know right?!" Lorelai said "It's crazy"

"Good afternoon" someone said "do you have an appointment?"

"Yes" Lorelai said "Gilmore"

"Great! My name is Eliza, I'll be taking care of you, today. Who's the bride?"

"Me" Lorelai said "this is my daughter and maid of honor, Rory. And this is my best friend Sookie"

"Perfect, follow me" Eliza said and let them into a room filled with dresses. There were a few couches along the wall "you can sit there and I'll be right back"

After spending a few hours trying on dresses, Lorelai had a wedding dress, and Rory and Sookie both had bridesmaids dresses. The 3 decided to go out to dinner after. Rory got home around 8 and flopped down on the couch, where Logan was reading.

"That was exhausting" Rory exhaled

"Did you get a dress?" Logan asked

"We bought 1 wedding dress and 2 bridesmaids dresses" Rory told him

"That's good" Logan wrapped his arms around Rory and she moved closer to snuggle into him

"I'm so excited for them" Rory said "this has been a long time coming"
