Kalíanna
My dull mood was soon lightened by my best friend. While he gave me my space when I needed it, he didn't allow me to sulk for long. There are many things in this life I am greatful for and I'm certain that, Javier Santos, is one of them. No matter how overbearing he can be at times.
I lay in bed with Javier listening in on his call. I start laughing, I didn't know how to control my laughter. I can't, even if I try. He puts a finger to his lips, he smiles as he signals for me to be quiet.
"Yo, yo-" He cuts her off, "Mi nuh care bout' all a dat, just lose mi number." He says with a hiss of his teeth.
"Javier, I-" She doesn't get to finish the sentence because he ends the call.
"Ago stop fuck dem mad gyal yah." He shakes his head.
I stare at him disbelief as I try to stop myself from laughing.
"Yuh cya behave better?" I ask.
"No." He smiles, his gaze travles from his phone to me. "Fuck yuh mean? Dem nuh know who Javi be?" He chuckles lightly, taking a sip of the liquor in his cup.
"Javi fulla' shit, dat Javi do." I retort, playfully.
"Yuh nuh rate me eno." He says, pointing a finger at me.
He picks up his phone getting up from the bed.
"Shut up." I remark.
He stands up, his tall frame towers over me from where I lay on the bed.
I bring my gaze to his.
"Want say dat again?" He mutters.
I laugh as I look up at him.
The familiar darkness in eyes caused a smile to appear on my lips.
I take his cup from his hand, I take a sip handing it back to him.
"Move now nuh." I nudge him playfully.
He stands there staring at me for a while. As if he finally realizes this he looks at his phone.
"Soon circle, ago do sumn' and come back."
I nod acknowledging his statement.
"No bada' drop asleep eno."
He knows me too well.
"Mi nah go sleep." I assure him.
Before leaving he turns around to look at me.
"Good?" He asks, making sure I was ok.
"Good." I reassure him.
The lock clicks signaling his departure.
I take the time to head to the bathroom.
I had a shower before coming here but I wanted to take advantage of the rainfall shower every chance I get.
A remarkable feature of this house is definitely its bathrooms.
Javier did know weh him a do when him buy it.
After removing my clothes I grabbed my toiletries from my bag.
I was in the mood for a really cold shower.
I slip on my shower cap before turning on the water.
I feel my body relax as the water cascades down my form.
