The Defenders were a secret organization that was started to help defend humans from the scientists. which they clearly failed at. Most of them were weak,and didn't make it. Some of them are strong soldiers, still are.There were only 15 left, the others either dead or taken for experimenting. only 15 where left and Dean, Rue, and I were their descendants.
