"wait then why did you seal away the EVAs you could have continued as you were with unit-01" she said

"are you joking, the EVAs are a completely unfair advantage even one would turn the tide of any battle it was apart of, i may have gotten power hungry but i still want to fun fight, if winning is as easily as shrug off all enemy attacks their is no challenge no fun to the fight" i said, she had to give him that it was fair

"though my mystic art is actually a lot weaker then people realize, all that power can only be used with unit-01 as a catalyst, without my EVA the ability is still strong but it can basically considered a shield ability that can also crush a person, but if they are strong enough they can fight neutralize their own AT-field, so mine would have no affect on them" i said

"it's still a useful power" she said

"it is, but unlike an EVA which there is not a thing a live that can beat them, i still can very easily lose if i'm not careful, my opponent can neutralize their own AT-field and can break through mine if strong enough, and i'd still have to find people to fight with me" i said with a shrug

"shinji" she said

"yes, yes, i know, i know, i am well aware that is the easy part, many would flock to my banner if i let it be known i was intending to form a guild, but most of them are former officers of the navy that remember 'the good olé days' all of the people i'd want to recruit and trust have gone on with their lives, and i don't want to disturb that by asking them to fight for me, and goh, anna, and mira, are strong, but they are essentially one fighter, plus me, versus entire guilds that isn't what i'd consider fun either, sorry i've been the underdog it was not fun in the slightest" i said, the guilds were the factions that competed in the seraphim trials, currently their were eighteen high ranking guilds including ren yamashiro's white lotus, and yuuhi mitsurugi's koubuin shogunate, yuuhi was not the most original with the name of her guild

misato sighed

"i'd join, just so you know shinji, all i have done since the vanguard, is frivolous things, because honestly i know what i am good at, and i like to fight for myself for a change" she said, at that she finished her can of bear through it into the recycle bin, and left, wherein she immediately sent asuka a text

"meet me at NERV" was all misato typed in the text before sending it, 'soon' she thought, 'soon the world will truly know shinji ikari's name'

"well" asuka asked

"he's close, tsukihime you were right i wish there were things you told the class, but you were right, you know your master well" she said to the ghostly image of tsukihime, who's power had been transferred into a katana for shinji's use

"i've been with him for the past ten years, i would think i'd learn about my master" she replied telepathically

"what did he tell you that you wish tsukihime would have told you" asuka asked

"shinji is not at all as afraid to take charge as we thought he was, he loved the power he had" misato said

"that isn't accurate, shinji enjoyed the power he had over me, he didn't enjoy the responsibilities he had as first minister, he had to be professional then, he could use me and do with me as he wished" tsukihime butted in

"okay, the guilds are small kingdoms in a nutshell, he will have that power over all who join him, and there are a few" asuka said, nodding to asuka, the EVA pilots his former adjutant kiriko, the pandora's, kyoka uzen, and dragoon pandora himari azuma (one of the very rare few that was both a pandora and a dragoon, rei ayanami was also such), and to ichigo and sakuya who were also there, ichigo was a hybrid like himari and rei, sakuya was just a dragoon

"i agree with asuka's description, we all know what we are getting into, the problem is getting shinji to accept us"  elizabeth said, her limiter and former lover died during the first seraphim attack, she would have died as well, if not for the adriel's timely arrival, dispatching the first seraphim, he comforted her, after the battle, and she had gotten close to him, it started as friendship but as she watched him lead his men, it soon grew to love, shinji was the personification of noblesse oblige always trying to aid his subordinates and help them as best he can, the fact he saved the parasites as well didn't help her infatuation with him disappear it only made it get bigger, and that was something she adored about him

"first we need to be sure, we understand what is going on, we are giving ourselves to him, counting me, that is fourteen women for one man" shizuru, the newest of the group said

"he deserves it, and he will be able to keep us happy, so long as we don't get to greedy, and we help each other as well" misato said

"yes keep that in mind girls, we don't just share him we share each other" tenka said

"are you tenka, or yakumo" she said

"just because i do not show my presences like yakumo-chan does, doesn't mean i don't have them the idea, of having a three or even foursome with shinji-kun, and the girls here, does intrigue me, in the end after we must remember we are not marrying shinji-kun we are entering his service, we are essentially becoming his slaves, something you should have experience with kyou-chin" tenka replied her smile never leaving her face

"she has a point, we are choosing to become shinji's to use however he likes, of course shinji will probably give us more free rein then most but, we will belong to him not the other way around" ichigo said

"i am curious why you two are here, don't you two have partners" satellizer said pushing up her glasses

"goro was only ever my piloting partner and brother, and i realized hiro was also only ever a brother to me, my crush towards him was nothing but childhood nostalgia, especially with how messed up he was thanks to APE, he just wasn't the boy i remember" ichigo said

"i agree with ichigo, hiro wasn't the darling who tried to rescue me anymore, he tried to be but that fire was gone, and it caused my own fire for him to burn out, shinji at first intrigued me, but when we had to pilot the halberd to recover his EVA, from those idiot zealots who thought the seraphim were gods, i saw what kind of man he was, i felt it, he had that fire, hiro did not and i knew then i wanted him, this way i can be with him, and he can show me more of that fire, that and shinji is the only person who has ever been able to rein me in, and i kinda liked that" sakuya said, her voice much more passionate then ichigo's but everyone knew it was because she was a huge battle junky

"so then we are agreed" misato said, the girls all nodded

"we just need a name then" kiriko said, but the three EVA pilots and misato looked at each and nodded

"NERV" they replied simultaneously

"either that or the fallen vanguard" ichigo said

"it'll be NERV, shinji redeemed that name in the eyes of the world, when he took over as commander of the organization and many would expect him to take on that name again for his guild, i almost guarantee that is the name he will choose" misato said
