Chapter 4: Failure

THIRD PERSON'S POV
  

"Sinasabi mo sa 'kin na patay na si Kargarus?! But he's one of the seven generals of the Order! No mere human can kill him!"

Nakaluhod ang isang kawal habang patuloy na inuulat ang nangyari sa pagsalakay. "Due to his defeat, the remaining forces were forced to retreat to prevent any further accidents."

Six of the seven generals gathered in a different dimension from the outside world. Each has a throne with a vacant one in the end. Doon dati nakaupo si Kargarus.

"That's quite interesting. To think a mere human can do that to one of us, the gods. Are there any clues of his death?" A man twice the size of a normal human asked. He has big, muscular body, hair like a lion, and fangs like a beast. His body is made for fighting and destroying anything on his way.

The Beast General. One of the seven generals of the Order.

"The only clue we have for now is there is someone inside that academy who is stronger than anyone. He was beheaded by using a sharp tool like a sword. Or a dagger," sambit ng taga-ulat.

The generals fall into silence. They already had a clue of who it was.

"Huh?! Are you saying that it's the Servant herself?! Pinagloloko niyo ba kami?!" the beast general marched towards the soldier and lifted him through his neck. Namutla naman ang kawal as he struggle to breath.

"Stop it, muscle head," utas ng isang babae na nakaupo sa gitna. She wears a sleek, sexy dress in emerald green that reaches the floor. May nakasabit na ahas sa kanyang leeg as well as another one on her hand.

Binitawan ng Beast General ang kawal na nangingitim na.

"It just might be an impersonator," sambit nang isang lalaking kanina pa tahimik sa gilid. Nakasuot siya ng salamin at parang isa lang siyang ordinaryong tao.

"Impersonator or not, I'll kill her." Ngumisi ang Beast General.

"There's no way it's the Servant. Tanga at mahina lang si Kargarus that's why a mere human killed him. Leo, kill this impersonator. Teach that human a lesson. I want her to experience a slow, terrifying, and painful death." Ngumisi ang babaeng may ahas as her eyes glow in green.

Mas lalong ngumisi ang beast general. No mere human can withstand even just its presence.

"Leave it to me," sambit nito at tumawa ng malakas.

ALEXANDRA'S POV

  
It's been 2 weeks since the attack in the academy at ngayong araw nalang ulit mag re-resume ang klase.

Kakalabas ko lang nang dorm nang makita ko si Kaizen. Parang di ko yata siya nakita ever since nagkagulo dito sa loob ng campus.

"Kai!" tawag ko. Tumigil naman siya at ngumiti sa 'kin.

Iba talaga ang charm nito. Kung hindi ko lang siya ka-close, malamang isa na rin ako sa mga babaeng nagkakagusto sa kanya.

He's tall. Hanggang balikat lang niya ako. Magulo ang itim niyang buhok pero bumagay naman sa overall features niya. Mas maputi siya sakin, matangos ang ilong, caramel eyes, prominent jaw, and a perfect set of teeth. Nakilala ko siya noong first year pa lang kami since magkasunod kami sa pila sa Mana Grid. Ang daldal niya kasi, eh madaldal rin ako kung tutuusin, ayun mabilis kami nagkasundo. Pero never pa kami naging magkaklase since nasa higher section sila kasama nina Nyla at Taryn, samantalang ako eh nasa lowest.

"Ngayon lang yata kita nakita, ah," bungad ko sa kanya.

"Bakit, na-miss mo ako?" pang-aasar niya.

"Miss ko si Aoi."
