The moment I see her again, there's nothing but silence. Everything around me but her just fades out. And although she looks so different from the Y/N I knew, I knew it had to be her without a doubt.

The cute and innocent girl I used to call mine was gone. A new woman that gave off a completely different vibe stood in her place, looking strong and independent. I eyed her, curious of who she had become.

I wanted to ask her if I had been on her mind the way she had been running on mine constantly.

I wanted to tell her how much I missed her.

I wanted to tell her how much I loved her.

"Jeongin's fine" was what I said instead. I knew that was what she needed to hear the most. The reassurance that she wasn't a cold blooded killer, even if I had made her feel that way.

Her indifferent gaze met mine for a split second before she adverted it again. As if what I just told her was of no significance to her.

What?

I couldn't help but stare at her in disbelief. My entire attention was on her, therefore taking me a while to notice the man she came with.

My eyes grew wide at the impossible pairing in front of me. I balled my fists so tight, I couldn't feel my fingers. The two people I thought I would never see again together right in front of me. And while I had hoped everyday to see her again, I promised I would kill him the next time our paths crossed.

Kim Woojin.

"Woojin."

She was here with him.

"Woojin? Kim Woojin?" Felix's deep voice asked in my ear, surprise evident.

"What is that, a traitor meeting?" Minho yelled out his thoughts unfiltered.

Kim Woojin. The one who broke my trust first and almost ruined my new found family.

I stopped staring at the man I had so much rage for and turned to my girlfriend. Seeing them next to each other filled my mouth with a taste so bitter, I wanted to spit it out.

"That's Kim Woojin, he-" I started, desperate to explain to her what the fool next to her had done to get kicked out of my gang. She needed to know who that bastard was-

"I know. He told me."

That felt like a punch to the gut. How could she stand next to him when she knew? How could she be on his side?

"Are we enemies now?" My voice sounded hollow, even to my own ears. It didn't really matter, I wanted all of her, love and hate. Even if she was an emotionless robot, I would find a way to make it work. I had to.

"Aren't you here to kill me?" She smiled sadly. "Maybe we were always supposed to be enemies."

My heart hurt in a way that was even worse than missing her.

"You're wrong." About both of those statements.

She raised an eyebrow at my bluntness.

"I'm here to take you home."

She finally looked at me - really looked at me and saw the broken man behind the facade. Then she quickly adverted her gaze as if looking at me pained her.

"I think we have a different understanding of what home is for each of us." She took a deep breath. "My home isn't Stray Kids Headquarters anymore and I'm not the me you used to know."

"You're assuming a lot about me but unfortunately, you're wrong again." I gave her a small smile, still completely ignoring the elephant in the room.

"Stray Kids Headquarters isn't my home." I laid all of my sincerity in my next words and it felt like laying a knife in her hand while trusting her not to hurt me. "You are."

Or while knowing that she would hurt me, but I let her do it anyway.

"Bro, don't do that," I could hear Felix's voice in my ear trying to reason with me but I was already set on what I was going to do.

I always did what I wanted at the end of the day. And I was still responsible for her and her actions. Even if she left. You can't just leave a gang without consequences.

I'd give whatever it would take to get her to stay with me. I wouldn't lose her again. Not this time. Not ever again.

I had just found her, had just gotten her back and I wasn't about to let her go again. Not even if it would kill me.

"I'm going with you." Her eyes found mine, surprise in her gaze.

"You can't be fucking serious Bang Chan!" Minho's angry voice was screaming over Felix's calm one but I let them both fade out. They had lost their indispensable leader to the shadows of loneliness a long time ago.

Woojin laughed coldly. "If we take you with us, you'll be our prisoner."

I locked my gaze with hers, ignoring the man next to us, emphasizing every word I said next to make sure she understood what I meant.

"I'll do whatever it takes." To be with her. I'd go anywhere with her.

"Have you lost your goddamn mind?!" Minho screamed and I could hear the others try to calm him and get him away from the microphone. Seungmin replaced my angry friend and I could hear him take a deep breath before speaking calmly.

"We're with you. Always. Take care."

"Restrain him," Woojin said and handed her a pair of handcuffs, my concentration returning to the scene in front of me as my in-ear connection signaled the turn off with a beep.

She turned to me to use them on me and I raised an eyebrow when she put them on my wrist.

"Kinky," I whispered, making her blush.

God damn it how much I loved how her cheeks reddened when I made her flustered.

Then she got ordered to search me for any weapons and her hands wandered all over my body. And I couldn't help but wonder if she simply forgot that we use in-ear pieces or if she left mine there on purpose.
