I was in the kitchen cooking dinner for the pack because it was my older brother's birthday.

I made a chocolate cake that had five layers and I cooked seafood because it's his favorite along with chocolate cake.

As I was cooking, my brother's mate, Amy, walked into the kitchen. She had a wicked smirk on her face. I knew she was about to cause trouble.

But behind that smirk, I could see guilt and sorrow aimed at me. She quickly covered it up when she noticed I was looking.

"Hey slave! What are you making my mate!?!?" She yelled outraged. Amy slowly stalked over to me.

It struck fear in me because she's very powerful. She's going to be the new Luna when my parents step down in a few years.

"I-I w-was making t-the f-future A-alpha's f-food for h-his party." I stutter out showing my neck as a sign of submission.

She walked closer to me hovering over me giving me a death glare.

"He doesn't eat that. Cook something else!" She screamed in my face.

I give her a scared yet confused look. I know it's his favorite food because I've been cooking it before he even found her.
